I had a very hard time finding a place to stay to ski at Belleayre over presidents day weekend. Weirdly, this place had a lot of availability which worried me, especially since it was literally 5 minutes from the resort. It was actually very clean. The room was comfortable enough, of course there is no TV but there was wifi....

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Weyside Inn for a last minute ski trip at Belleayre. Weyside Inn was affordable, pet friendly, and close to the mountain. Tasha, the property manager, was kind and accomodating while helping us book the room. We arrived early, but were greeted by Tasha right away and told our room was already cleaned and...

I stayed for one night with my family in one of the cottages. From the outside, the back deck was in rough shape (rotting, broken stairs) as were the windows and doors (broken screens). Inside, 3 of 5 light bulbs didn't work (we replaced them ourselves). The TV didn't work. The couch was sunken in on one side. The whole...

We were on the 3rd floor of this early 1800 farm house and there was NO a/c and just a ceiling fan and 2 windows on one side. Bathrooms were filthy and shower and faucets were old and didn't work right

We stayed at Weyside recently in cottage 12 by the lake. I remember this property when Frank & Doris ran it and it has deteriorated beyond belief. First the fridge was filthy, second no heat even after inquiring at office. We found mouse traps under the sink and droppings where utensils were stored. Evidence of leaks in several areas w/...

A neglected beautiful wooden building and cottages leaves you a bit hesitant to enter on first sight. Again, greeted with a full ash tray on the porch and an overflowing bin by reception, does want to make you turn around. The owners should really tens to this free way to improve the place, and paint the sign which is so...

The exterior of the cabins need work (some paint would go a long way). The interior was better, but quite bare bones and dated. The garbage can outside our unit was overflowing. This was especially surprising, since there are bears in the area. The real issue we had with our stay was that the running water stopped during our first...

We stayed in Old Barn 14 for 2 nights in July. The place was just okay. It was nice to have a kitchen and the firepit/grill outside. There were plenty of clean towels. But the place is quite old and in need of a makeover. The mattress of the pull-out sofa was dirty and had dead bugs on it. The...

The whole place is so run down is actually dangerous, we stayed at cabin 14. No roof shingles, yes you read correct. It rained, water came in and one of us woke up wet, there are holes in the siding that you can see inside, the one room had a hole about 12x12 in the middle next to the light with...

I recently found myself in need of a getaway and instantly thought of a little trip back 'home'. I contacted the owner late one evening and was pleasantly surprised when my accommodation request was managed quickly, efficiently and professionally. I arrived the following day, later than anticipated, but was greeted in the driveway by the new caretaker. She helped with...

“Families -- go for a cabin so there's room to spread out, play, etc. Couples - the rooms in the inn (big house) range from ones with private bath to ones on the 3rd floor that share a bath. Two or 3 people per room depending on what you book, it's a reasonable cost when split among friends.”

“We have always stayed at the cabins. Each cabin offers a different vantage point. I couldn't recommend one over the other. both the lake side and river side offer different charm and both sides are equally as pleasant.”
