We stayed for 2 nights on our way to Namibia in December 2016. Found the accommodation very clean and well managed by the new owners. We plan to return in April for a longer stay when we hope to camp in the new campsite. Lovely location.

Extremely friendly and helpful owners and staff. Very clean and neat, well manicured gardens and lawn. Clean pool. The chef, T.T. is one of the best in the country. Good fishing and birding. Loved every second of our stay!!

Location is good but that’s about it, Accommodation old fishing camp, needs a drastic upgrade, 5 rooms have river views not much of a view though as it’s on a bend in the river and surrounded by dense reed, aside from birds, croc’s...

Evening meals are boring for choice. The cook has poor skills which can be improved. Receptionist aka admin clerk took 1, 5 hous to sort out our accounts which ensured...

We met friends for lunch as we were travelling down from Caprivi and our friends were travelling north. We tried to order from the menu but almost all the items were unavailable. No buns for burgers, no ham, no eggs, no beacon, etc. There were only three items available on the menu, cheese and tomato sandwiches, chips and tuna salad...

From the Manager to Frog the cook we were treated the best in all of our 20 day Safari. They went overboard when told that a couple were on their honeymoon and it was the bride's birthday, complete with a cake and candle, out in Africa? Would highly recommend Swamp Stop.
