Visiting Guma Camp is worth every bit of 4 x 4ing you need to do to get there. From the wonderful welcome, friendly staff, excellent service and food to the peace and tranquility experienced whilst gazing out onto the water and listening to the various birds, hippos, monkeys and other animals that surround you in this little bit of heaven...

We stayed in the chalets in Jan 2017, the chalets have a view to the lagoon as well as the dining area, good food, had no problem with the fact that you cannot choose what to eat, dining and breakfast, if you decide to eat what they serve (you have a choice of bring your own food). However, they say...

We were a group of 8 adults who camped a Guma Lodge for unfortunately just one night. After a beautiful 4x4 drive to the lodge, we were welcomed with everything campers could ask for: beautiful natural surroundings, a shady clean and grassy campsite with its own private bathroom on each campsite. The service was friendly and informative, we had access...

Stayed for two nights in October whilst on a safari. We stayed in a chalet with ensuite overlooking the lagoon. The sunrise from our verandah was amazing. Chalet was comfortable, lots of birdlife around being right in the bush. Enjoyed our trip in a mokoro exploring the network of water pathways in the delta and saw elephants and birds and...

We camped here in Nov 2016.. Great camp sites right on the lagoon, with good ablutions and access to a kitchen facility. Also nice deck to relax on which even campers have access to. Also good activities available at reasonable rates - like boat rides, mekoros etc.

Beautiful, on the lake, a place where you would like to spent more time. We had a beautiful day spent in a mokoro. The lodge is very nice, the tents/rooms are are all around the lake, beautifully sunset. Good food as well.

We stayed for three nights at Guma. The service and attention to detail was fantastic. The activities we did were great fun, we spent hours fishing for tiger fish. The food was huge portions and very tasty. Lunches were delicious! The room itself, a fixed tent was very pleasant. It had a great terrace with two chairs overlooking the Delta,...

Guma was a fantastic place to stay! The drive in is exhilarating to say the least with deep, hot sand you sure don't want to get stuck, but what fun! The rooms are lovely, with a little deck and some chairs to enjoy the sunrise. The barbell run is amazing to see. We had no luck fishing the tigerfish but...

Great accommodation in en-suite permanent tent, delicious meals served in the evening, and great breakfast options. Our host Nooky was very accommodating, going out of the way to provide tasty vegetarian options for two vegos in our group. The daily tour activities (we spend two days at the camp) were well planned, and although we didn't see as much game...

Wanted to go fishing in the Delta and stumbled upon the Guma Lagoon Camp. Reachable by road only in a 4x4 with low pressure tires through very soft sand. The camp sites are isolated from each other with your own bathroom and shower. Very clean. If you want to have diner there, make sure you let them know ahead since...
