We stayed in one of the new safari tents.....quite nice, but housekeeping could be better. The ladies at reception are extremely friendly and helpful. We were a group of 20 people and Sandra gave us a good briefing at the poolside. The braai, for dinner, at the pool area was very good, but breakfast was a dissapointment with quite an...

We stayed in Kwalape Lodge for the first time. Very friendly staff indeed. We were welcomed and given a good briefing by Sandra. The rooms were 100% and very neat. We had a braai for dinner around the fire, very good. We will go back there again. Only negative is the cats running over tables and everywhere.

We stayed in kwalape safari lodge from the 18th -22nd July 2016. The place is very conducive with lovely staff. We were warmly welcomed to the lodge and we felt at home. The lodge is just by the road to kasane, one can take a taxi by the gate to town. The safari tents are very good. We really enjoyed...

We left our accommodation reservation in Kasane to the last minute as a result of travel changes. All of the expensive 'upmarket' Lodges were booked out ($500-$1000US p.n.). We did not have high expectations, but this relatively inexpensive Lodge made up for its more basic services with the warmth, the friendliness and welcome by the staff. We had both breakfast...

We camped here for two nights. The campsite and ablution block is ok, although a little bit cramped when fully occupied. There is a restaurant, bar and pool on site, with full access for campers. The location is just off the main road to Kasane, and no river access. This is a decent budget alternative when everything else is booked,...

Those without the tent in Kasane: despair! The only reasonably priced accommodation catering for travellers without tents for us was** Kwalape Safari Lodge** some 8km away from Kasane. Their tented twin accommodation was P370pn, not sure they offer discounts for single person occupancy. Taxi from Kasane to the lodge was P30. The lodge is wonderful and the staff very nice....

Affordable lodge accommodation. We stayed there with 10 family/friends. We were supposed to sleep in the tents but got upgraded to the chalets for free. That made the experience even better. The chalets are gorgeous, with very comfortable beds & mosquito nets provided. The furniture and deco was traditional, providing a authentic experience for our family. Great shower with bathroom...
