My wife and stayed for 3 nights in November 2016 in Savute under Canvas. But before I summarize please consider that this is a tented camp which has to move approx. every week to a new place - also far away from a permanent camp. During our stay we were in a very sandy area. And it was really hot...

We went to Savuti in the month of September. It's a dry land and very hot.... But you will be amazed what wildlife you gonna see. Elephants (a lot) at the waterholes, the famous Savuti lionpride, warthog, vulture, buffalo... We had the luck to see the wild dogs. The Camp is very basic, low eco footprint. But the staff is...

When we were there it was around 40 degrees Celsius, far hotter than we are used too. However, it was so worth it, the camp is small and it makes for a sense of community. You sit around the campfire at night and learn what people in the other vehicle saw that day. You are also all eating on a...

This tented camp of 3 -5 tents is located in the Savute area of the Chobe National Park and due to park regulations moves every five days to another location. During our stay, the camp was situated right at the erratic Savute channel which was however dry at the time (late July) and I believe has been for a while....

We spent 2 nights here as part of our honeymoom trip to botswana. Perfect mix of comfort but still experiencing staying in a tent and feeling very close to nature. Chobe has great wildlife too. The food they mange to cook in their mobile kitchen is also very impressive. Would definitely recommend it.

I traveled to Botswana with my father who is 63 years old. After spending two nights at 'andbeyond chobe under canvas' we traveled to 'andbeyond savute under canvas'. The drive was enjoyable although long. We drove through a few towns and were able to witness how the local people lived. We also had a coller box and the back on...

The tented experience was a very positive one within our trip. We felt much closer to the bush. The tents were very comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food. Our driver Sam is a very experienced guide. Much appreciated.

This was our second destination in Botswana as part of an 8 night Explorer Safari with &beyond. I travelled with My son aged 24 and are well travelled on Safari's in Africa. We stayed for two nights and the facilities were very similar to those we had experienced in Chobe with &beyond on the previous two nights. The camp site...

I was skeptical when read the description; bucket shower? What were signing up for? This may not be for everyone, but this was the nicest tent I've ever stayed in: nice queen size bed and flushing toilet. The bucket shower is in your tent a filled by the staff with hot water (thus no early AM shower). They even place...

We stayed at this camp 3 nights / 6 pax (3 tents) on a tour with AndBeyond, during Apr. For me it was the best experience and place during our entire trip. There where 5 tents for 2 nights and only our 3 the last night. They build those tents just for few days and then move them. The staff...
