Beautiful house, great facilities, getting back to nature and staying in luxury. Close to the city for easy weekend breakaway with 6 friends. Nice trail run/ biking/ walk routes in Nature Reserve. Spotted Gemsbok on route.

The Wild Olive House at Bartholomeus Klip is a place where we build family memories with our children - it was our second time there, and we definitely want to go back. The farm is "real" enough to create an authentic farm atmosphere, but safe enough to let our children run around freely. The house was clean and luxurious, and...

Our 8th visit here since 2002 and we still considerate it to be one of our favourite destinations in the world. Total relaxation if required in beautiful grounds, superb cuisine, farm interest, we watched the lambing, game viewing and walking, canoeing to name a few of the facilities. We have booked our return for 2017.

A return visit to the Klip after an absence of ten years made us wonder why we'd left it so long . Welcoming and highly attentive staff, excellent food, lovely garden and pool and interesting "game drives" where one can learn about and appreciate the local wildlife and beautiful countryside. The only downside was having to leave.
