It is a place you like to come back! A place where you can breath, relax, get away from routine. The owners are very helpful, so is their staff! The house and the rooms are tastefully decorated - you feel at home. The coast is just in front of your window and invites you for long walks.

Lovely position, saw plenty of whales, hosts very welcoming. The down side was no door on the bathroom, it was all part of the bedroom. If you don't mind listening to your partners toilet habits then you will be ok. Lovely clean room with everything you need.

Fell in love with the view. Fantastic location right on the bluffs overlooking the bay. The staff are super friendly. This is one location that a single visit is not enough. Today the bay is very calm. It is very refreshing to sit on the open raised patio and take in the scenery.

We loved this place from the room (The Honeymoon suite!), to the food, the staff, and Stanley and his wife Lainey, all of whom try ( and succeed) to make you feel at home. We did a boat trip to a nearby island to watch marine life ( we were not in whale season),that had been arranged by Stanley which... More

We enjoyed our stay at Whale song lodge a lot. The couple that is running the lodge is investing a lot of efforts and heart - there are lots of details that makes you feel almost like home and you see they want you to come back and not to just stay there once. Whether it are the descriptions of... More

We stayed at Whalesong Lodge for two nights during an extended trip which included stops from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town over two weeks. The weather was quite variable in late October 2014 causing us to miss our whale watching boat tour which got cancelled. However, we greatly enjoyed our stay at Whalesong. In bad weather you are snugged up... More

We are not the B&B type so maybe that plays into my 4/5 raging but the property didn't feel too comfortable. It is a beautiful property with an amazing view and location but it just didn't feel comfortable. Property is essentially shut down by 830 pm and you feel as though you are sneaking back into your parents house as... More

Very friendly and accommodating owners and staff, wonderfully comfy beds, great location and view with lots of whale sightings from the deck. I also found the heated bathroom floors were divine! Highly recommended!
