Cliff Lodge is very special. Overlooking Walker Bay where, normally, we expect to have a great view of the whales in October we were unlucky this year. For some reason the numer of sightings was down on our previous experience. However, the service, breakfasts and rooms compensated. If you can run to it, the Ocean Suite is magnificent. Gideon, Gill... More

We enjoyed our stay at Cliff Lodge very much. The location is just gorgeous and has unique view over the cliffs and the ocean. Gil and Guideon supported us in finding the best restaurants and daytrips including maps and other detailed information. And then the breakfast, absolutely phenomenal, egg benedicts are legendary - best we ever had.

This was our second visit to Cliff Lodge in the Ocean Suite and how excellent it was again. Gideon, Gill, Nico and the team all make you feel at home. Everything is impeccable and the attention to detail is noticeable. Breakfast is great and the excellent coffee deserves a special mention.

Wonderfully situated right on the cliff in a quiet residential area. Watched whales & calves whilst having breakfast. We had the West room - large room, 2 beds pushed together and huge. Decent size fridge, stocked with wine, water, soft drinks. 2 comfy chairs, shower room with sink plus separate toilet with sink. Patio to the side overlooking the ocean,... More

Cliff Lodge is a small boutique B&B perched on the cliff with magnificent views of Walker Bay and the prospect of seeing whales from your bedroom. The welcome, service, attention to detail were excellent and the breakfast was one of the best on our trip. Gill the owner and her team went out of their way to make your stay... More

Establishments like this raise the bar. The rooms are all nicely appointed and have everything you need. The sensational location right on the rocks over the Indian Ocean makes for amazing sunsets. Breakfast offered just about anything you could think of. The owners know what they're doing.
