It looks shambles. Staff is friendly ..pool is OK but the campsite looks bad. Sites are long and narrow..so one ends up close to Ines neighbour. The ablution block is really below standards...no privacy ..one has to step out of the shower in view of the others...only one tap...no temperature control....and we had no warm water...

We camped one night with a group of 10 people. We had a large grass area to ourselves. The other camp sites seems a bit small and squashed in. The place made me a bit sad, a bit "run-down". We had an ok meal at the restaurant, after waiting a very long time, but they did not charge us corkage....

Shocking accommodation - nr 7 wooden chalet!!! Paid R1050 per night. Stove hadn't been cleaned. The inside of the bottle they used to put dishwashing liquid was not appealing at all. Didn't bother wiping shelf on mirror where toothpaste was on. Dishes were not clean. A place can be old, but it must definitely be clean. Such an amazing venue...

We stayed in nr 1 a two room "Wendy House". Paid R750 for the night, over priced considering what we paid in Oudtshoorn at 4Star Guesthouse... R850 for one night, including Breakfast. But we were game for the experience! The food deserve a 5 Stars rating and Hendrik in the restaurant area needs mentioning. Great guy! Warmwaterberg Spa is part...

The accommodation is clean, but very basic, and equipped with all you need for self catering. Very dated decor. Outside barbeque. There are seperate large bathrooms at the bath house. The bath is a very deep concrete construction with stairs and you can fill it with hot mineral water up to your neck while standing. Quiet and relaxing getaway! Good...

We stayed in Bath House #1 this time - its an old structure - clean and comfortable. The best part is the kitchen - it has an open fireplace as well as a big deep bath - so you can soak in the heated waters, drinking a glass of wine, watching the flames - absolute bliss and completely private. The...

We stayed at Warmwaterberg Spa before 25 years ago and again was impressed with the place. The water is REALLY warm and the service is great. There is a restaurant with great service and the rooms is great with your own personal warm water bath as it used to be a sanatorium. Safe and well managed. If you do not...

As always Warmwaterberge delivers. The soothing waters and crisp air are fabulous for the weary traveler. With ongoing upgrades this spa is clean and tidy. And has accommodation for everyone, from campers to newly weds. We love the family feel and the no frills approach of the spa. If silence, wide open spaces and lithium infused waters are what you...

We visited whilst passing on R62 to oudtshoorn. We had read about the natural pools online & decided to visit as it was a clear sunny day & we'd not had much chance to sit in the sun! It only cost 50R per person, and the lady at reception was kind enough to loan us some fresh towels to use....

Warmwaterberg Spa is a hot mineral spring situated between Barrydale and Ladismith on the R62 from Cape Town to Oudtshoorn. The spa offers self catering accommodation in old farm house buildings dating back to the 19th century, timber chalets sleeping 4 – 8 persons and some parked caravans. The kiosk is stocked with basic provisions and the bottle store stocks local wines. The Lapa has a restaurant offering country fare and a bar. There are three outdoor pools, two hot and one cold. The temperature in the pools varies from 25 to 42 degrees C. For those who would like to explore the vast outdoors, there is a hiking trail on the property as well as drives to nearby mountains and town.
