We wanted an authentic farm stay in the Karoo and we were not disappointed by our choice. A beautifully appointed room awaited us in October. The lovely hostess, Helena, made sure that our every need was fulfilled. Her impeccable taste in decor reflects the many destinations to which she herself has traveled. As a traveler herself, she has refined the... More

I am tall therefore I find it difficult to sleep when there is a metal frame at the bottom of the bed. Maybe that question should be asked at time of booking. Other than that the accommodation was more than adequate and very reasonably priced.

Professional staff, very friendly and helpful. Great rooms, clean and neat. I had a lovely one night stay at Lentelus and will definitely refer Lentelus to all my business contacts that travel to George.

This lovely B&B on a farm is a perfect getaway spot whilst exploring Route 62. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, room was great - lounge space + bedroom + bathroom + kitchenette with a fridge and microwave (1st floor of the Pear Orchard Cottage). Breakfasts were good too, and there is a lovely winery with a restaurant just... More

I liked the situation of Lentelus which is in a country farm setting. On arrival was welcomed by a most friendly smiling staff member, who took me to my room and made me feel welcome. The rooms though old are clean, comfortable with everything one needs, bed very comfortable. Sitting on the balcony, one overlooks a open field with trees... More

The cottages were clean, stylish, spacious and homely with farm and farm animals as a peaceful and beautiful setting, will definitely come again, if in need of accommodation in the area. All the kitchen utensils needed to make a good lunch for the family were there. Also nice personal hospitality touches, milk, biscuits etc.

Wonderful stay-over. Place well equipped with even a hot-water bottle for a cold winter's night. Fresh milk and biscuits for that first cup of coffee was an added bonus. Already booked for family to visit.

The environment on the farm was very pleasant, and the facilities in the unit generous, clean and very nice. All round very good value and definitely an excellent choice for overnight or longer. We have added Lentelus to our list of favourites.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and the homely feel of the venue. It was such a treat to sit on the stoep after a busy day and just relax. The farm atmosphere is marvelous, the rooms neat and lacking nothing. I will definitely use them again in future.

Stumbled across this quaint Guesthouse on the outskirts of George. I frequently travel to George and have been looking for a good place to overnight. Lentelus really surprised my expectations. Great setting. Cottage was well equipped. Service was spectacular. Loved the farm styled setting and décor. Will definitely pay them a visit again.
