We were looking for a place to have supper as we had just been turned away by the Mayfly Restaurant My wife suggested the Dullstroom Inn as we have stayed there in several occasions The pub/restaurant is basic and old fashioned but we love it They always have a log fire burning and there is loads of memorabilia on the...

We recently stayed at the Dullstroom Inn - it is not a modern hotel by any standards but is spotlessly clean and well-run. It is also very reasonably priced with off-street parking. There was a notice in the hotel room that management is in the process of doing some renovations and updates. With that said the room was very comfortable...

It is like stepping into the past… a real “old” Inn, in every sense of the word. Rooms are comfortable and clean but dated. The walls are “paper-thin” like all the hotels and Inn’s of that era. Staff are friendly and helpful but not in a hurry. Pub is cosy with nice affordable food and a fire that has been...

We stopped for an early lunch at the Inn's pub. It is not situated in the main street. Its really cosy and they had a fire going. The food is lovely, the atmosphere is great. They have homemade pie's and other tipical pub food. Our six year old even ate all his mini bangers and mash. The pub felt more...

My wife and I ate dinner at the Dullstroom Inn. On a Tuesday night, there aren't many places open in the evening. The Inn had a nice warm atmosphere, although basic. However, the food was well worth it. My rump steak was well worth it and my wife's curry was delicious. Will need to try that on my next visit...

Very cosy bar and restaurant with good food. Also delightful to sit by the blazing fire in the lounge. But rooms are very dated and urgently need upgrades. Also the room was cold, no central heating, just a small fan heater. Staff very helpful. No wi-fi for residents. .

I stayed one night on a multi-day motorcycle tour. This is an historic inn with real character. There was always a fire burning in the pub fireplace, the food was tasty and the service friendly. For great value at a rustic inn, you should stay here!

The pub is an established institution in Dullstroom. Great value for money with old Transvaal charm. An excellent venue to watch sporting events. Particularly in winter with a warm fire and good wine. Can't comment on the guest rooms as we only had a meal at the pub-restaurant.

Had another weekend at this quaint Inn and pub. They are busy with upgrades at the moment. Always clean and the pub grub is delicious. The roaring fire adds to the ambiance. Staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Within walking distance of Mrs Simpson's restaurant which is a big bonus.

I had not eaten there for a year or two, but was welcomed by the manager on a busy night in the bar/restaurant. He took us under his wing, and found a spot at the bar for the two of us. I ordered one of my favourites, the Steak & Kidney pie, and it was as good as ever, a...
