Stayed in the Loft for one night. What a gem. Spacious enough for 2 plus a baby and camping cot. Beautiful decor. Complimentary Sherry, tee, coffee and biscuits. Small kitchen with microwave and fridge. Unfortunately no shower. At R750 a night the price is reasonable. Over weekends however, it costs R950 which is rather expensive. Would definitely return on a...

Went through Dulstroom on a bussiness trip and decided to stay at Fox's Hill. The gentleman helped me with a very profesional attitude. Enjoyed it staying at this lovely place. It was cold in the evening and the fireplace were perfect and stacked already. Close to town aswell. Recommended for a one night stay, family get together, romantic evening. Definitely...

In October we visited Fox Hill Guest House and stayed in the garden cottage by the entrance lovely room it was and we enjoyed it. We were however, very disappointed with Marita in the shop, she talks lots of nonsense and we felt like she just wasted our time with her long stories. I just wish that you can find a...

We had a quaint cottage with a sitting area, four poster bed, a valet, decor out the Ying yang, a pedestal sink, and a bathtub with feet. There were pictures, tzotkies everywhere we just loved the inside. The outside was fabulous with flowers, a table and bench to sit and eat, a fountain and statues. Just lovely. The only thing...

Beautifully appointed, great for a couples getaway. We stayed in the cottage near the road, and despite previous reviews we didn't have an issue with road noise at all. We arrived a bit late and friendly owner/manager was there to let us in and give us recommendations of the fantastic food at Dullstroom Inn (off the Main Street). The romantic...

An invite to a celebration weekend in Dullstroom had us scrambling to find accommodation in town, as all activities were scheduled there. The Fox ticked all the boxes. Quaint room with a lovely garden, good price. The room however was just big enough for the double bed, with a bath tucked into the one corner (but not closed off). This...

Great venue. Nice space. Decor pleasing. Clean. Good value for money. Service from Alfred great. Nice fire place plus wood/coal) and victorian bath. Enough extra blankets plus the sherry was a nice touch.

We recently stayed in the self-catering house, Fox and Hound with family who were down from the UK. The place is BEAUTIFUL, finishes, space, etc, but just the one room, Eilen, which we stayed in had the most uncomfortable mattress ever. I think a futon mattress was used in that room as all the other rooms had normal, proper mattresses....

Nice guest house in the picturesque village of Dullstroom. Nice stay - all the restaurants and shops in walking distance. Perfect stay for one night on the way from Joburg to the Kruger! Simply nice and cozy!

We stayed in Fox's Hill chalet. Very well appointed, stairs to the upstairs bedroom quite steep. Not for the tall though, anyone over 5'10" (178cm) should consider one of the other chalets - the stairs, bath and bedroom are all height restricted. Lovely fire place, unobtrusively serviced.
