Best game reserve experience, the only animal we didn't see was leopards sadly.... Lodge rooms were stunning with great views of the falls and outdoor shower. Food was local and lovely, whilst the staff could not be more helpful. The treks around the reserve were top class with great guides (Jabulani) knowledge was amazing. Was great with our kids and...

My boyfriend and I visited Mkuze Falls Game Reserve last week. The lodge itself is in the middle of nowhere, so you really feel like you're in the depths of South Africa's landscapes, and when you arrive it doesn't disappoint in showing you the spectacular views over vast amounts of the reserve (and obviously the waterfall...with a resident croc &...

This was my second visit to Mkuze, and I have stayed at a lot of private game lodges throughout Africa and this is definitely one of the best, and far superior to some of the other lodges nearby. The accommodation is very good, each lodge has a splash pool, and there is a main swimming pool as well. The food...

Wow!! Returned after one year and still experienced the truly unique Lodge that we missed so much. Great and friendly staff. Most of them are there for more than 14 years and are still very happy when we spoke to them, well done Management! Food was tops and game drives awesome!! Saw big five twice in 4 day stay, wild...

We enjoyed our time at MF very much. The accommodation is first class, if a little dated in some aspects and lacking sufficient storage space in our chalet (No. 6). However, that was compensated for by the view over the waterfall and its plunge pool – unfortunately, because of the current drought and the time of our visit the waterfall...

We have returned to Mkuze Falls for the 5th time over a 9 year period and are never disappointed. Despite a severe drought, Jabu drove us deep into the bush so we could find our favourite sightings of elephant, lion, zebra, giraffe, rhino, buffalo and many more. All the meals with no exception deserves 5 stars and more. Accomodation is...

3 star game reserve. The average food and the service (lack of person in charge / point of contact) in my eyes make this place only a 3 star resort. The most frustrating thing is there is no real point of contact, it's just like take or leave it. The lunch and dinner is the same as what you'll get...

I was very pleasantly surprised with Mkuze Falls, as the price we paid was quite low. The accommodation was 5 star, with lovely views from the verandah of the waterhole with hippos and a crocodile. The falls had dried up due to the drought but that wasn't an issue. The staff were very good, learnt our needs very quickly and...

We celebrated my 50th as a family in 3 rooms for 3 nights. Everything was amazing. The rooms, the beds, the people, the service. As you can expect of 5 star. The food was nice, not for foodies and not for banters but that said...they make the BEST carrot cake I have ever tasted. You will definitely not go hungry....

Honestly this was the most beautiful game reserve we have been to. Everything was perfect. From the surroundings to the staff, to the stunning rooms. It was a special occasion surprised hubby for his birthday, they upgraded our room and surprised him with a cake and a bottle of bubbly. It is truly 5 star! Would definitely recommend this place...
