We were there with a group of 12 guys doing climbing, backpacking & rafting. Our room had 2 double bunks and one queen bed for 6 guys. It was ok. No AC, one small bath with shower. We spent most of our time outside, so the room was adequate for what we needed. I don't know what it cost since...

This is a beautiful spot in the Carson national Forest. We rode by during a motorcycle tour of Northern New Mexico. It was slightly early for the summer season, but he staff was friendly and accommodating. We were able to have a fire by the river in one of several rustic firepits on the property. We were intrigued to watch...

We just returned from a 4 day skiing vacation 3/15 - 3/19/2016 Love this place! We stayed in a house in Taos using flipkey, as there were 9 family members total. The drive was short from town and the resort is awesome! Very laid back and family friendly. No long lines, parking very close and lots of runs. The tickets...

We stayed here for 3 nights in early March. There are pros and cons. We stayed in the large duplex which is the closest to the lifts. There was a large living room with new furniture and a big fireplace. The beds were comfortable. These were the saving graces. The bathroom sink was broken for most of the stay. The...

Let me start by saying the people that work at this place are AMAZING!! Some of the nicest people you will probably ever meet. Here is the problem... the mountain is steep the greens and like Angel Fire's blues. The lifts are EXTREMELY steep and it takes about 3 minutes to reach the top... and about 3 minutes to come...

Enjoyed my first ever ski experience. Ignacio, our instructor was great! My daughter took a bad fall though and we decided not to ski the second day. The staff was very nice and refunded me for the equipment rental I had already paid for the 2nd day. Michael, who helped me with my reservation and with questions about the resort,...

My family started coming here in 2010 because it was so inexpensive and a great place if you have little kids or inexperienced riders. We fell in love and try to make it back every year. The kids loved the ice castle they had one year and my then two year old learned to snowboard there. It is not over...

Sipapu Ski Area is the little ski area that could . . . . that could, that is, be just the place for you if you're visiting Taos, New Mexico on a ski trip and find that Taos Ski Area is a bit overwhelming. Sipapu, about 20 miles from Taos, is a small, family-friendly ski area with all kinds of...

Had reservations for 3 nights but left after 2nd night because of the horrible rooms and service. I'm not very picky about our rooms and don't need all the fancy amenities but we reserved a bunk room so we could have frig and microwave but they "upgraded" to a lodge room which they said was better. Well, no frig and...

Angela, I sincerely apologize for your experience at Sipapu. We strive to be the most family-friendly, family fun resort in the Rockies, and I am sorry we missed the mark. When our staff was moving you to a different room, did they understand that you were looking for something with a microwave and refrigerator? We offer several rooms that have...

Stayed at the hotel last Friday and Saturday nights for a ski weekend. Tried the ski and stay package for Friday night. Room and lift ticket for $44. Sweet deal. Pet friendly for just $20 extra. They charge $20 for the stay not per night. Rooms were average but the rate for both nights was $39 each. Not bad. Heads...
