Peggy, an owner and host was not only helpful and gracious, but also an excellent breakfast chef. Austin, floating groundskeeper and concierge was also a real gem. A little spendy, so ask for discounts such as AAA up front. The grounds are excellent. Only a short pleasant walk to the Plaza.

This place is a great inn that isn't listed on a number of other resources, but it is worth the effort to seek out. The co-owner, Peggy is a super gracious and friendly host, the rooms are wonderfully appointed, the place is classic Taos, the complementary breakfasts a real treat, and their wonder dog, Lacy, is the friendliest Springer Spaniel...

This was the first vacation my husband and I have had, ALONE, in 10 years. What a perfect place to stay. This inn is beautiful! The staff is very attentive and helpful. Peggy and Austin went out of their way to assist us with recommendations for hikes, drives, restaurants etc.. I loved the fact that the inn was within walking...

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome into Jerry’s home. The accommodations were just what we were looking for with a King Size bed and fireplace in the bedroom. The breakfast was prepared with TLC. The property was located within walking distance of the main blvd. Jerry was very helpful in providing tips on getting around Taos and the...

There are snacks/drinks provided throughout the day. The location is within walking distance of the Plaza in a historic private compound. The building date from 1800. Our room was the Taos Pueblo which...

My wife and I and another couple spent 3 nights at the Inn and have nothing but good things to say about the experience. The rooms are wonderful, the breakfasts inspired, and the location a great mix of out-of-the-town-center tranquility and near-to-the-downtown-action. I loved that I could walk the grounds and birdwatch before breakfast. We arranged to reserve a room...

The Inn is set beautifully in a private compound with several comfortable patio areas for guests. Many excellent restaurants and the central Taos plaza are within walking distance. The owners, Jerry and Peggy) and the entire staff, which includes family members, are friendly and eager to assist with information and reservations for local attractions. Our room, the Spanish Colonial, was...

I have only superlative things to say about our stay here. Peggy was a wonderful, thoughtful, and caring hostess. Our room, the Spanish Colonial, was enormous and beautifully appointed. The king size bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows of different types to assure a good night's rest. The bathroom was spectacular--very large, with separate areas for the...

Located in an area of the Southwest which has been settled for 200 years, the Inn and its location are both exceptional. We stayed three days (two nights) and wish we could have stayed longer. The Inn is attractive and well maintained, the rooms well appointed and the linens front rank. We stayed in perhaps their smallest bed sit and...
