Great little place. Second time staying at Sun God Lodge and it won't be the last. The staff is extremely helpful. There was no hairdryer in my room but when I called the front desk, someone brought one over in just a couple of minutes. Bed was comfortable, and my room at the back was relatively quiet. The only thing...

If this is your first visit to Taos, when you drive in, prepare to be disappointed, especially if there is no snow when you were expecting snow. It is dirty and ugly. And then you make the right hand turn into the Sun God and your opinion is transformed. Before you lies a huge grassy lawn, with people sitting outside...

We had an excellent experience at the Sun God in Spring, 2015. I made a room size mistake on my initial reservation, and I arrived one day earlier than my reservation (we skipped a stop along the way). For both changes, the staff (Talia and Maddy) was very friendly and worked through the needed changes without issues. The next day,...

We've stayed with our family at the Sun God Lodge for an extended skiing week-end (four nights). The hotel is under new management, and the owner was very helpful in accommodating us. We had room 142 with two queen beds, a balcony with mountain view (away from the main road), a little kitchen (no stove) and a fire place. The...

Very affordable, and wonderful character! These are historic rooms have a wonderful charm to them. They are true adobe walls and the tiles in the shower even appeared to be hand painted! Even though the rooms are old they have been taken good care of. Wasn't many people in town so we didn't have neighbors either which made it more...

The owners of the motel were accommodating. We had a single room with a queen bed which was nicely furnished and comfortable. It was a small room but at a good price. The architecture of the motel is northern New Mexico with beautiful long porches. We used the outdoor hot tub on the cold night we slept over. It snowed...

If you are looking for a 5-star resort, than you aren't at the right place, but for the price this hotel is really great. It is clean, the beds are comfy, and it was quiet. I would definitely stay again.

The owners are a class act...Very hospitable!! I had a planned surgery at the local hospital and arrival time at 6 am. The owner offered and delivered me on time. Above and beyond!! Can't wait to return in the summer for a pleasure trip!

Rooms were fairly clean; in ours the bathroom sink had tooth paste or soap splatters, but the bathroom was otherwise was clean. We found it interesting that the hotel was dog friendly but not cat friendly.

I've stayed in many different places in Taos and for the money, this place is fits the bill. The receptionist, I assume the owners? were very friendly and helpful for any questions or request we had. Having an outdoor hot tub was great after a day of skiing. The rooms are small but clean and what we expected for $70/night....
