We stayed two nights on an organised fly-drive holiday. Check in was efficient and we we allocated a junior suit. Naturally there was plenty of space. Everything seemed to work though the fittings were showing their age. Thankfully the A/C was both efficient and quiet...More

Found this small hotel near Taos and enjoyed the friendly staff. It's not the most modern place, but it was perfect for what we needed. Great free breakfast that's not the same boring stuff, like waffle batter and blah pastries.

Went mid-week, before it got too cold. Waited several years before venturing another try, since the last visit was pretty dicey. The basic elements of the facility continue, essentially undiminished from a few years back, yet customer service leaves a lot to be desired, especially...More

Looking in Taos before visiting, this seemed to be the best option for the amount of money I wanted to spend. There were cheaper options that looked like horrible, but this ended up being the same value as the cheaper options. I first arrived on...More

Hi! I was wondering what was "disgusting" about the breakfast? I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed here every time I travel to Taos and find it to be the best breakfast ever served by attentive wait staff (especially when you also consider it is included in the reasonable hotel price): bacon & sausage, toast & scrambled eggs; french toast & pancakes w syrup (s); authentic green and red N.M. chili; cereals hot and cold; juices, variety of coffee; exotic tea selection etc....all served in a huge dining hall. What do you eat in Pennsylvania for breakfast? Phili cheese steak? Also, where was your room because I don't want to stay there according to the way you described it. I stay across from courtyard in a room with new king size mattress, a fireplace and love it. Don't you think Taos is for people who appreciate history, authentic local food; and old New Mexico charm?

I totally disagree with "disgusting" - the inn offers a hot cooked menu of fresh food with fruit sauces/syrups, fresh fruit, French toast, eggs and green chili sauce (Yummy!!). Great coffee and so much more. It's definitely... More

The Inn is located off a major highway several miles from the Taos Plaza. Therefore, it is unsafe to walk and probably too far for most.
