My friend and I thought celebrating our birthday in Taos was the highlight but how wrong we were! We happened upon this B&B on the internet by accident and now find ourselves forever charmed. La Dona Luz is an amazing home with so many touching details, comforts, pleasures etc.but the real treasure is the family on site. Paco, the owner,...

My wife and I stayed in the Yellow Bird Deer suite which could well be described as a folk museum filled with kachinas, drums, paintings, and Navajo rugs. The owner, Paco, even carved deep niches containing art objects into the adobe. And yet, it was very livable - a/c, Jacuzzi, fridge, TV's, comfy king bed, quiet, and private. The small...

This was my second stay at La Dona Luz & it was just as wonderful as the last time! Located rt across from the Taos Plaza, it is so convenient & quaint! Shops & wonderful restaurants are steps away. The owners & staff are very professional & accommodating - we felt SO welcome. We stayed in the Los Angelitos room...

What a delightful happy surprise it was to arrive at the lovely La Dona Luz. The room was to die for with a patio that overlooked the square without the noise. The staff were friendly and more than helpful. The breakfast that was served on a lovely patio was on spot. I would most certainly stay there again and suggest...

My husband have stayed at this lovely historic inn in the past. Therefore, when a friend of mine from TX wanted to experience Taos NM this was the only inn to stay in. As in the past, the accomodations, full breakfast, and staff were excellent. We stayed in one of the rooftop suites which gave us a view of downtown...

This is a wonderful B&B in Taos. It is beautifully decorated and the staff is wonderful as well. Do not expect a modern building! You will be staying in a historic adobe home. Our room had a plug in AC unit which helped, but it was still not like a true a/c unit, which would ruin the character of such...

This property is filled with character and charm and the location is fantastic. Check-in was fairly easy, my room had neat murals, and breakfast in the courtyard was a nice way to start the day. There were just enough little things that, in total, kept me from giving a higher rating...an extremely noisy AC unit and when directed to open...

The rooms were very unique and pleasant. Very close to square. Walking distance to all the shops and art galleries. Will definetly stay again. Great atmosphere and breakfast was very good. Sonrisa seemed small at first, but became our favorite room. Very highly recommended.

We spent just one night at La Dona Luz and it was delightful. We were greeted at the door by the owner Pablo's 90 year father Carlos who filled us in on the history of this beautiful home and helped us with lunch and dinner suggestions. We stayed in the Yello Bird suite on the main floor - so beautiful....
