We wouldn't think about going to Taos with out staying/eating at the Taos Inn. From the interesting lobby/bar to the oversized rooms with fireplaces, the Inn is as enchanting as New Mexico itself. We love eating at Doc Martins, the staff even rustled up two bowls of black-eyed peas for our New Years Day tradition and no, they weren't on...

We had a lovely room with a kiva fireplace. The room was stocked with wood and paper each day. The inn was beautifully decorated, had live music and great times at the Adobe Bar and Doc Martins. We will do this again and bring our adult children next time!

We've been staying here for years, and it's always the same; comfortable rooms with a true sense of Taos/New Mexican style. The rooms are unique and the service is friendly. We absolutely love the Bar at the hotel, and the green chile is the best!

LOVED the Taos inn! Spend the $30 extra to stay here over one of the other crappy hotels in town. You won't regret it! The entire hotel was immaculate, guest services were fantastic (with the exception of the rude older hostess at the restaurant), and the music was excellent.

Although have visited Doc Martin's restaurant and the Adobe Bar before, first time to stay at hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves in a room with kiva fireplace that was more like a Casita than a hotel room. It was Christmas Eve so bar area was crowded but great for local people watching. Enjoyed both dinner and breakfast...

We did not stay here while on vacation in Taos, but we did stay close and we ate here and had cocktails a couple of times at the Taos Inn. We really enjoyed this place, very cozy dining and the live music was nice! I'd probably check into the rooms here if we visit Taos again!

Loved staying at the Taos Inn. Central to the Plaza and everything around. We felt like we were in cozy Adobe which is every tourist's dream when we come to New Mexico. Service was attentive. And food was great in the Restaurant. We ate there everyday. This was a nice get-a-way.

Beautiful winter weather and atmosphere. The Inn can be a bit quirky at times, but if you are interested in experiencing authentic Taos, this is the place to stay. Kivas fireplaces in the rooms are a wonderful accent and surprisingly effective, but more traditional heat sources are available if you don't feel like building a fire. Great live music in...

The hotel is in a great location. It's very close to the plaza and tons of shops and galleries. The hotel is pretty and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the original building. You can hear some noise from the hall as you would expect in an older hotel and when the band on the...

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, very good food in the restaurant and bar. We really enjoyed our cozy room in the corner of the courtyard with the small fireplace. Many decades ago my parents loved to come to the Taos Inn and thought that it was very romantic. We can certainly see why.
