What an experience! If you can go - GO. The accommodation and staff are truly fabulous and the game drives are spectacular. I cannot say enough about Madikwe Hills. We had the most fabulous 3 nights. The food is wonderful and the staff cannot do enough to make this an experience you will treasure forever. We moved on to Leopard...

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the experience was sensational. The rooms are beautiful and so well appointed. Every detail is thought through and always good to have a Nespresso for a caffeine hit pre safari. We loved the bed with it's mosquito/bug/whatever net. The rooms have multiple windows from which to see the game and...

We stayed at Madikwe Hills Game Lodge from February 5-8 and could have easily extended our stay as we were sad to leave. This place is so very special. The accommodations are spacious, well appointed and just plain beautiful. Nothing could beat the view from your terrace or private outdoor shower - it was such a peaceful oasis. We enjoyed...

We were lucky enough to spend 3 nights of our honeymoon at Madikwe Hills. We pushed our budget out to stay here and it was worth every penny! The lodge itself is beautiful - lovely interiors with the dining area overlooking a waterhole (frequented by elephants during our stay). We stayed in suite no.6 which had an impressive stairway leading...

L.Y.N.& Associates in Sandton suggested we came here. From the moment you land on the small airstrip you know that you're in for a real treat! When we arrived at reception we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and introduced to all the key staff. We cannot praise the staff and the standard of service highly enough, it is 'off...

I don't write many reviews, but i had to after my trip here. Myself and my wife stayed at Madikwe Hills for 3 nights, and it was an experience that blew us away, from start to finish. Upon arrival, and throughout our stay, every single staff member at Madikwe was polite, friendly, professional, courteous, and I have nothing but the...

Our 4 day stay at Madikwe Hills was both relaxing and exciting. We saw a wide variety of animals including the expected giraffe, elephant and zebra along with wild dog, lion and cheetah. We knew we were in for excitement when our small plane landed amidst giraffe and zebra on the runway. Our guide stopped to chase zebra off the...

A wonderful experience but with lots of room for improvement We can't help feeling this could very easily be one of best safari experiences in Africa with further investment in amenities and much improved guest (and likely staff) relations and communication, if only there was a Will to improve. We are not sure that Will exists. As a regular contributor...
