We had an incredible stay at Madikwe Hills. The hotel was stunning with amazing food, lovely staff and the best guides for our safari drives. We had Ernst and Charlie the dream team :-). Tracked the animals with them and in just 3 days we saw all the big 5 and all the animals and birds you can imagine including... More

We booked Madikwe as a special treat. We were just amazed by how special it really is. Our suite (room 4) was stunning and overlooked a water hole where elephants came to bathe most days. I loved hanging out here during the day in between game drives. Our ranger (Jaces) was absolutely brilliant, finding us something even more exciting each... More

My husband & I travelled via Gabarone to Madikwe . While at first we thought that the travel to Madikwe was long, we soon changed our minds when we arrived there! From the moment you are taken to your spacious, luxurious suite, you realise that you've just arrived in Paradise. On the first evening there, a herd of elephant came... More

This property is superbly managed and operated. From top to bottom this was a stellar operation. The accommodations were outstanding. We were lucky enough to stay in hut 7 which has to be the best on the property. The view and plunge pool were magnificent. Dear Denalda, Thank you very much for all the praises! My wife and I are serial safari goers who have visited many camps/lodges all over southern Africa. Madikwe Hills is a real gem excelling in the quality of suites, the game viewing and an excellent chef. I had been to Madikwe several years ago and frankly wasn't impressed. Boy have things changed. It is now on par with Sabi Sands and the Timbavati and of course Kruger itself. Wonderful camp with well appointed rooms, its a real bargain in the upper safari price range. I love the menu choices for each meal.
