I would reiterate all the wonderful things other reviewers say, and as several give details of the camp and how it runs, I will not repeat their descriptions. The camp is fantastic, the staff is wonderful, guides are very knowledgeable, the food is great, and the whole overall experience was fabulous. We had only a short time in South Africa...

My teenage daughter, my sister and I spent one night here in August. Oh, how I wish we could've spent more time! Our stay was simply amazing. We had two huts that shared a wall a short walk from the impeccably clean composing loo and donkey-boiler showers (which, because we spent one night, did not use). After a short drive...

Dear Sueisme Thank you so much for this perfect review - it feels like you were there for so much longer than just one night :) Thanks for mentioning that you slept warm and cozy - I think people are sometimes a bit fearful of the cold nights! We hope next time to see you for a bit longer? Thanks...

Mosethla is an eco lodge. That means no electricity or piped water. Instead the camp is lit by over a hundred paraffin lamps. Solar lamps are used to light your lodge room and a donkey boiler for hot water that you carry and pour into an overhead shower tank. The camp has two solar powered electric wires to prevent elephant...

This year was different to last, as this was a winter trip compared to summer last time. It's not better or worse because of the time of year, just different. Again, I brought a group of our UK university students and staff after their volunteering trip to Botswana, and they were utterly amazed at what they experienced. We saw everything...

A fabulous place to stay. An experience that you should not pass. You will feel a part of nature and among great friends. Staff are more than attentive and welcoming. Our safari rides were best that we have experienced...and we have had many living in South Africa for the past two years.

This is my third visit to Mosetlha and the first where we were privileged enough to book the whole camp as the Back to Basics Experience. The camp can support up to 23 people across the 10 cabins, provided you are not afraid to share - we had 18 in total (some couples, some singles and a father and son)....

This is the way to immerse yourself into the bush! A very authentic safari experience where you are encouraged to leave behind technology and feel the rhythm of the bush through the campfire, open-sided (with flaps) rooms and a real focus on the wildlife. Greg, camp manager, takes great delight in showing guests the nocturnal visitors that wander through the...

This was our second stay at Mosethla, and we definitely won't be going anywhere else. Everything from our arrival to departure was incredible. We have had the pleasure of having Justice and Kgomotso as guides and they both delivered! We saw everything, and they were both so knowledgable, answering any and all questions we had. The lodging was great. Even...
