We travelled to South Africa in March of 2016 and spent 2 nights at the Umlani Bush camp. The camp is intimate, not a huge multi-person camp which we loved. The staff was really friendly and always on hand to help. Our safari was awesome! Our guide asked us what our top sightings were and went after them wholeheartedly! We...

I have stayed 2 nights at the Umlani Bushcamp and loved the experience. Game drives are awesome and the service provided is also really good. Staff was extremely helpful all the time. Only comment regarding the infrastructure is that I missed a fan in the room... i know the hotel has almost no electricity and I generally agree with the...

Wonderful stay for 3 nights - the whole experience was just fantastic. very friendly/attentive staff, great food and the safari game drives and bush walk were superbly done - expertly lead by the ranger and tracker, both of whom were extremely knowledgeable and keen to share their love of teh wildlife, and not just the big five but a whole...

We've experienced some amazing safaris in over 20 different locations in 3 African countries ...... and this was one of the best! Can't recommend the staff highly enough. Authentic hospitality and accommodation in an excellent location - excellent game viewing, food and drink. Would definitely return!

Our first organised safari, we came after 2 days on the Kruger national park self driving. The set up was perfect for us, not pretentious but good quality food, en suite facilities, a beautiful setting with elephant wandering past. All the staff were very helpful but our game driver and tracker were excellent, highly knowledgable and had a good sense...

I must agree with all the other positives reviews so won’t repeat all the various aspects but just like highlight some point for future guests; • This is a back-to-nature camp without power, lights and any real luxuries. This will be welcomed by those like us wanting the real bush experience as opposed to a massive spa hotel with a...

We stayed three nights at the camp. It was one of the best experiences we've ever had! The rondavels are pretty basic, but with a comfortable bed and a nice outdoor shower. You feel and hear the bush all night long since the huts are quite "open". We have heard a lion roaring throughout the night, amazing. It can get...

Our family had a wonderful stay at Umlani. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and great with our two young kids. Big Amos was the absolute best ranger! He got us up close with all of the Big 5 and other animals. Highly recommend!

Umlani Bushcamp is a very special place for us. Our Daughter, Son-in-law and 2 grandchildren were here on holiday with us and they were really so impressed. They especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the bush. They were so excited because they saw the Big Five on our first day. This is an all inclusive camp, food wonderful. The...
