Umlani Bushcamp epitomises the true African bushveld experience. Set on the banks of an expansive dry river bed, you are taken to another world as soon as you arrive. The staff pay very close attention to detail and you are immediately made to feel at home and oart of the Umlani family. Game drives are magical, we saw all of...

For me I wanted to know what 500 Euros of hospitality would offer. This is an experience for the privileged as the South Africans in the country cannot afford these prices normally. Consequently you are meeting only international Europeans. The South African staff are charming bur probably wonder why gas lighting is better than electricity and an outdoor shower is...

This bushcamp is unique because of the use solar energy. Unfortunately no airco and no choice of the food you' ll get 2 eat. If you want to go out of your room at dark, the rangers will guide you, because of the wild animals. The rangers are good, really good, and know what they are doing. We seen the big...

I loved staying at this gorgeous Lodge! It is a unique concept and it has a warm and professional feel to it. The Staff is extraordinary, meals are typical and delicious, Guiding and Tracking are exceptional!! The rooms are simple but carefully planned and they insure an authentic, wild but still comfortable stay. The game drive was very interesting and...

Excellent place. Only not so good road to get there. It would be better if we had a jeep to drive there. All other was perfect. We see all animals that we wanted. Really nice guides. Nice friendly staff.

We travelled to South Africa in March of 2016 and spent 2 nights at the Umlani Bush camp. The camp is intimate, not a huge multi-person camp which we loved. The staff was really friendly and always on hand to help. Our safari was awesome! Our guide asked us what our top sightings were and went after them wholeheartedly! We...

I have stayed 2 nights at the Umlani Bushcamp and loved the experience. Game drives are awesome and the service provided is also really good. Staff was extremely helpful all the time. Only comment regarding the infrastructure is that I missed a fan in the room... i know the hotel has almost no electricity and I generally agree with the...

Our first organised safari, we came after 2 days on the Kruger national park self driving. The set up was perfect for us, not pretentious but good quality food, en suite facilities, a beautiful setting with elephant wandering past. All the staff were very helpful but our game driver and tracker were excellent, highly knowledgable and had a good sense...
