No words can sum up our experience at N'kaya lodge but here's a brief review. Absolutely amazing! We arrived to a very warm greeting from Nicki who told us everything we needed to know about the lodge and gave us some very good information including that for our health and safety whilst we were on Safari. We settled into our...

Just returned from three days at N'Kaya this past week. To say it was the trip of a lifetime would be an understatement. The lodge is beautiful, the food excellent in every way, and wonderful hospitality were just the start. The guides somehow managed to find all the important animals you'd want to see on a safari, and got us...

My husband and I stayed at N'Kaya lodge for three nights at the end of April. It was a truly memorable experience. Andreas, the Ranger and Leanne (not sure of the spelling here) his partner, were fantastic hosts. We were greeted warmly and immediately made to feel at home. The accommodation is made up of four lodges, each with a...

This is a small lodge, only 4 rooms out in the bush on the Thornybush Reserve. Everything about this lodge is fun, unique, and exciting. The rooms are clean, the food GREAT, the people super friendly. With the plane transfers and the distance to the lodge you usually get the early to mid afternoon. After a "tea" you go on...

You'll really feel cosseted at N'Kaya Lodge. I EASILY could have stayed another week beyond our 3 nights. Being handed a cup of perfectly made expresso ( I am from Seattle so I know my coffee!) prior to morning game drives perfectly sets the tone for the day to follow. Every detail is exquisitely attended to. With Andre our guide...

Me and my wife spent three nights there and after we left we regret not spending our whole two weeks in South Africa there it was that memorable. We had Andreas as our tracker is knowledge of the Bush and knowing all the game trails was unbelievable. Then there was Werner as our guide who treated us first class and...

Have sadly just left N'Kaya Lodge today and are now in Pretoria. We had three wonderful nights being looked after magnificently by Andre and Lene. With only 4 suits it is a very personal and intimate service, yet remained friendly and professional. Our tracker was Andreas and he is one fantastic tracker; with his expertise accompanied by Andre's great skills...

Do you want peace, tranquillity, privacy. Or passion, enthusiasm, expert care. Then N'Kaya is the place to stay. Upon arrival we were met by Lene and her partner Andre. We were shown to the main lodge where all meals ar served, then to Lodge 4, a double with 2 separate toilets, separate bath and rain forest shower. Depending on the...

N'kaya lodge was our favorite from the three lodges we visited during our first stay in South Africa. Thanks to Werner and Andris all our game drives were fantastic, their knowledge and enthusiasm were outstanding. The mixture of these safaris together with leisure time at the pool and in the beautiful suites (lovely decorated), wonderful meals prepared by Nicky and...
