Myself and my partner have just finished a 3 day safari at Tangala Safari camp. We absolutely every single moment and here is why... Upon arriving at the camp, after a long drive from Joburg we were warmly greeted by the staff, who helped us with our cases. Then we were straight out on our first game drive. Steve, our...

We expected to be completely off the grid for Christmas but to our surprise they had the best wifi we encountered throughout our 14 day trip! Tangala is a wonderful small scale camp with huts and tents each for 2 people. The huts were equipped with showers and the usual amenities. Mosquito nets and fans for night time, it was...

We stayed here for three nights during the hot rainy season. Expected problems with mosquitoes but neither were bitten during our 14 day safari. Accommodations and food were excellent. Our guide Steve was superb! His ability to find and identify wildlife and birds was astonishing. We saw 7 leopards during our drives including a young one in a tree overhead...

We really enjoyed the 3 nights and 4 days we spent at Tangala. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. Every night when we returned from a game drive our bed was turned down and the mosquito netting draped around the bed. We didn't see mosquitos but the netting kept a few harmless bugs such as moths out of our sleeping...

We had a great luck out on Safari from Tangala and got to see the big 5 plus many more. Our favorites were the leopards. Also saw a large heard of buffaloes come to cool off in the watering hole. There were hundreds of them and they stayed for hours, even though it was extremely hot out and they were...

Great 4 days where you can forget the rest of the world. What really made this camp 5* was the staff - Sam and Joe, our Safari guides were fantastic and everyone else at the lodge was extreme attentive. We saw the big 5 and many more. We stayed in a thatched cottage which was comfortable and to my surprise...

Had the best time - seen the BIG FIVE plus so more. We stayed in one of the thatched roof chalets, which we loved. From the time we arrived we were met by Nina who made us so welcomed until we left five days later. Her husband Jacques also there to talk with us at every meal. All other staff...

I probably stayed in the most economical option in a tent. Very safe. The whole place was simple and awesome. Just peaceful Jasques and Nina were gracious. Travelers froma ll over. We saw so many animals, my camera hardly came out on the 3rd trip and on. What I almost gurarantee you will see Lions, Zebras, Water Buffalo, Impala. The...
