We stayed at Sausage Tree in August of 2016 as the third leg of our honeymoon trip to South Africa. We were there four nights and had the most wonderful experience! The atmosphere was authentic, yet relaxing, and the staff truly made it a home away from home. Let's break down some details: The food: upon arriving, the staff will...

Everything here is more than great. A very nice staff, delicious food, wonderful view and so much more. We've also seen the big five and a lot more different animals in real life, sometimes even just next to you. Nice tents, very clean, a shower outside with an incredible view at the bush. Just perfect!

As experienced travelers to the bush, we found the Sausage Tree Safari Camp pitching it at precisely the right level. Everything, from the very friendly and helpful staff to fare, accommodation was totally adequate; anything more would have been fulsome. Field guiding and tracking/spotting was spot-on as was the presence of wild life. The Olifants River within the traversing zone...
