Me & my boyfriend just spent the weekend here for his birthday and it was just what we needed! Everything in the cabin was updated and well maintained. It was actually much nicer than I was expecting! The location was great, it was secluded but still close enough to town. The bath tub is amazing! We will definitely stay here...

Thanks for the feedback. I will check with the office to make sure they were made away of the mattress. The lodge was recently repossessed and we have obviously not ironed out all the bugs left behind by the past owners. The mattress will be replaced! Thanks and come again soon.

This was a nice little room. It came with a full kitchen that included a stove, refrigerator, microwave, plates and silverware. The bed was comfortable. Staff was excellent and knowledgable. I particularly enjoyed the deck. It's a comfortable seating area with hummingbird feeders that overlooks cute cabins and the river. The only downside to sleeping in the front part of...

Thanks for the great review! You captured the essence of the lodge. Srry about the road noise, of course it usually gets very quiet as the evening draws on. Come again!

This was our first stay at Upper Canyon Inn. We were looking for a quiet weekend, and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this cabin is. Very clean and well kept. Everything was in good working order. We will definitely make a return visit in the future.

This makes out 4th time to stay here. Would not stay ANYWHERE else while in Ruidoso. Cabins are awesome - secluded - clean - what else could you ask for ?? Cabin 12 is the one we have stayed at each and every time. My wife was disappointed not to find the Diary books that once were left here for...

“Even though the lodge is close to downtown, the combination of road construction and lack of sidewalks in some areas makes walking somewhat of an adventure. I would avoid walking if you have children or are elderly.”
