We spent 3 nights here, and will for ever keep the souvenir of our wonderful time at Elephant Plains... Our rondhavels were beautifully decorated and welcoming, the meals were exceptionally refined and fresh, and the game drives were astounding. Unlike what I have read in some negative comments, the rangers were respectful of the animals and though we did often...

We stayed at the EP for three nights and although we have been at a few safaris before we were very impressed. Within in 24 hours we had seen the big 5. We also saw a female leopard coming home from a hunt and her young ones joining her and many other amazing things. At no other safari we have...

We spent three nights at Elephant Plains in Sabi Sands following a two night stay at a game reserve in Kruger. Both experiences were wonderful but we loved the ability to go off road in Sabi Sands. I can't say enough about our guide Dawe and his tracker Justice. They were an amazing team. In addition to seeing the big...

Thank you for your kind review and compliments. I am gad that you enjoyed the game drives with Dawie and Justice. Concerning the Rondavels, they are smaller and situated closer together than the luxury suites. A lot of guests prefer them as they are a lot cheaper than the luxury suites. The luxury suites are advertised as having a view...

We had the fortune of staying in the honeymoon suite (put a lot of pressure on me with the girlfriend). The suite had a large deck, a fireplace, indoor and outdoor showers and a private plunge pool. The service was excellent. The drive was amazing. We saw the Big Five, drove into a hyena den, tracked lions on a hunt,...

What an amazing few days we had at this private game reserve. Our tracker and guide Tom and Lois were phenomenal and it wasn't long before we had seen each of the big 5 and much more up close and personal. With a few decades of experience between them they know what they are doing and love what they do....

My friend and I visited Elephant Plains last year and enjoyed it so much we returned this year. Morne and Dion were our guides this time around, they are both such good fun and so very knowledgeable. Each game drive was superb and they exceeded our expectations yet again. The rooms and food are first class, as are all the...

Our stay at Elephant Plains was possibly the best four days I have ever had! The accomodation is pure luxury - even the rondavels, which are the cheapest level. Big, air conditioned, great bathroom, deck. But the cost includes all meals (which really are excellent, and they cater for vegetarians, allergies etc) and two game drives and a bush walk...

This was our second trip to Elephant Plains. We were there in 2014 with Louis and Tom. We had such a wonderful adventure then we were anxious to return! This time we arrived within 24 hours of leaving home in upstate NY. It was a perfect place to adjust to SA time and to shed the stress of daily life....
