Decided upon this B&B for my long-time friend's and my get-together while she was in the States from France. It was perfect. Unobtrusive and discreet yet very personal and warm. Wonderful linens, cushy bed and huge bathroom in this "master bedroom" choice. Large patio with different private areas, a fine full breakfast,..perfect coffee in one's own coffee press. We plan...

We stayed at Casa de Rosie for a night last weekend when we drove down to Las Cruces to pick up some heritage chile from Biad Chile (yummmmm). Rosie called us as we were driving down and was waiting for us on arrival, along with her very friendly dog, Jasmine. The place is just what it looks like in the...

Casa de Rosie is a hidden gem nestled safely away from the I-10 bustle on the outskirts of charming Mesilla, New Mexico! We recently stayed here on a weeknight in late September while passing through the area on a trip east. While most of the accomodations you will find in and around the Las Cruces area are chain establishments, Casa...

We stayed two nights and will stay here again when in the Las Cruces-Mesilla area. Rosie is a very good innkeeper and a fine cook. We stayed in the Casita which is very private yet connected via a fountain patio to the main house. We walked to dinner on the Mesilla plaza both nights. The breakfasts were outstanding.

I was moving from the California to Florida and planned many stops along the way. I needed a hotel in Las Cruces, New Mexico and researched many chain hotels along I-10. I stumbled upon a listing for Casa de Rosie and I am so glad I did. It was hands down one of the best stops along my move route....

Rosie is a gracious hostess anxious to provide a relazing and memorable retreat free from daily stresses. Not only is Rosie's B & B...

This was a hidden treasure...a newly-constucted private home with a fabulous courtyard and quiet, romantic casita. Incredible breakfast; I have been at great hotels and have not had a breakfast like Miss Rosie served. She made real coffee with a French -press. Another key thing is that you can enjoy lots of margaritas at the bars and the restaurants in...

My Daughter just spent the best two days at Casa de Rosie. This was the most relaxing 2 nights we have had. Rosie is the best host. The breakfast was out of this world. Bring an appetite, because it is just wonderful. Very close to the shops, we walked there every day. Rosie was very helpful with places to go...

A Casa de Rosie stay is better in every measure than a hotel room. Top accommodations, plenty of room, freshly cooked breakfast, squeaky clean bed sheets and big soft towels made us feel at home. If there was an equivalent hotel rating, would 5+ stars be about right?

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Casa de Rosie is just one mile from Highway 10 and nearby Las Cruces. This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in historic old Mesilla, it is located about 100 steps from the Plaza and the Basilica of San Albino. This Bed and Breakfast has the distinction of being walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in Old Mesilla, while still secluded and quiet. It is close to all the great restaurants of Old Mesilla, La Posta, The Double Eagle, Andele's, the Bean, and many more. Furthermore, Casa de Rosie is situated just down the street from the Rio Grande and the "Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park" (1.5 miles to the Park). Casa de Rosie (Rosie's Home) is situated on an acre of ground providing privacy and solitude for our guests. In the rear it is located right on the "Acequia", the canal that brings water from the Rio Grande. The dirt paths of the canal are perfect for those who like to run or walk for miles along the orchards and farmlands of the Mesilla Valley. Perfect for the most avid bird-watchers. Casa de Rosie is located on Calle del Norte (Highway 359) one of the few roads that cross the Rio Grande. Also, the Mesilla Bed and Breakfast is located on the major North South migratory routes of many bird species. The just opened Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park is just one mile away. ... more   less
