We visited last night with the purpose of spending a few hours in the casino. All in all we had a great time. The only drawback is that it is very smokey in the casino. I realize that most casinos have their fair share of smoke, but this was excessive. Perhaps the air system wasn't working?

We did not stay at the inn but went for the casino! You can't miss it! When you are driving you will see a mountain covered in snow that's how you know you are headed in the right direction. I thought this place was amazing. You drive up and there is a huge parking garage. The casino was great and...

My wife and I visited the golf course and ordered a beer. It was lunch time and 3 guys in coats watched me put umbrellas in the table for shade, they cared less. The waitress walked by us without a glance. Finally I was able to get someones attention and the beer was hot, AT LUNCH, really? So I sat...

This was the worst 800+ dollars we have ever spent. I think we were scammed on our honeymoon. We will never let these people fool us again! 1. the room was big but about as nice as a motel 6 2. the staff had no clue how to help or answer a question 3. the area outside our room had...

Tip- When checking in, we asked for a room with a patio and got one. The views from the lobby are wonderful, rooms are clean, and the staff helpful. The food at the buffet- meh. Ruidoso is close by so we ate there. Overall, a better experience than expected. The bar has a nice patio as well.

My husband and I spent one night here for our anniversary. The staff was very friendly but chips and artichoke dip was really bad at Wendell's bar. Then ate dinner at "Tee's" restaurant and steak was bad. We tried to eat at Wendell's restaurant, but hostess said the only times available were 5:30 or 8:30pm due to a group of...

We decided to stay here after a long weekend traveling in southern NM for my birthday weekend - we decided to give it a chance although we had never been here before. We booked a suite expecting to have an amazing experience (based on the $345+ price tag!) for the evening and enjoy a relaxing evening/night on our patios (yes,...

The hotel/casino is located on Lake Mescalero which provides breathtaking views from most of the property. Get a room on the lake side and enjoy the balcony or walk out rooms to the lake. My sisters and I stayed in a suite with two balconies and a bathroom and a half, perfect for four women. Great living space, nice public...

We have stayed here every summer for many years but doubt we will return. The main reason we stayed here in spite of exorbitant fees was to make it easy to fish on a boat from the lake. Imagine our disappointment when checking in at the boat dock and finding out that they no longer rent small boats to fish...
