I am sooo glad we got to stay the night there. The only bad thing I have to say is that I didn't stay long enough! The B&B was so cool with lots to do even with no tv :) we had drinks by the firepit at night and our teenage boys played horseshoes and threw frisbee. It was a...

We arrived to a welcoming message with a key for our room. Stayed in #2 with front porch facing the street and it was perfect. Very well kept and displayed with pride and hospitality in mind. Katherine came by soon after and gave us a warm welcoming. We strolled through town and the museums before they closed at 4:30pm. Then...

If you love the old west, a great historic bed and breakfast. (7 rooms). Wood burning fireplace in the room was great for the cold night. (Also have regular heat). Katharine fixed a great breakfast and made you feel at home. Rocking chairs on the front porch for the summer months. Walk the town during the day or night then...

1800 century restored inn and guest rooms located in the center of historic Lincoln, New Mexico. A must stay for Billy the Kid history buffs! Rooms comfortable with fireplace. The owners are lovely, and breakfast was delicious served on the enclosed porch.

I am a huge fan of western history and culture both 'reel' and real. I work as a historical interpreter -- SO --- heading home to Fort Worth from the Grand Canyon - Lincoln was a MUST STOP. The only question was where. We chose the Wortley because of its connection to the famous jail break. They are up front...

I am an old west enthusiast. Each summer using a Fodor's Old West guide, my wife and I take a road trip through a western state. On each trip we like to spend at least one night in a historic lodging. This year it was the Wortley Hotel in Lincoln, New Mexico. We had just settled into this charming bed...

The Wortley is the real deal. If you want to sleep in the hotel once owned by notorious lawman Pat Garrett, or enjoy breakfast where Marshall Bob Olinger was having lunch when he rushed to 'The House' across the street to meet his fate at the hands of Billy The Kid, then this quaint 5-room hotel is for you. Now...for...

A group of friends, from Tombstone, Az. The Cameo Ladies stay at this historic motel. We enjoyed the antique filled rooms and lovely breakfasts. On Sunday, the hosts even allowed us to play croquet on their front lawn... We are all history buffs, and enjoyed the spoof of the latest Billy The Kid photo of him and his friends playing...

The Wortley Hotel was originally built in the 1870s and was destroyed by fire in the 1930s. The current structure was built on the foundations of the original hotel in about 1960. The hotel has had a long succession of owners over the last 56 years, with the current owners having purchased the property in early 2016. The immediately preceding...

Charming old place, lots of history. Lacy drapes and bedspreads, antique furnishings, Old West style dining room. Friendly family runs it now. Nice front and back patios with chairs, and the backyard has picnic tables. Breakfast was great and plentiful--eggs, bacon, fruit, French toast.
