My husband and I had been to Jemez Springs several years ago but had not spend the night. We needed a one night getaway and I remembered how beautiful the area was. We chose Canon del Rio because I wanted to stay where I could also get a massage. We definitely chose the perfect getaway spot. It is next to...

This lovely place sits right on the Jemez River and at the base of very dramatic cliffs. So the setting is fantastic. The inn offers sweetly furnished rooms, and grounds with numerous places to sit quietly - inside and out. We also had excellent massages (we are massage snobs) and the outdoor hot tub and (indoor) sauna were most welcome...

Conveniently located, for our purposes, just a few miles from Hummingbird Music Camp, we took the opportunity to have a quiet weekend of our own while my son was at the camp for a school trip (we wanted to be nearby to attend the concert Sunday morning). We started by spending the afternoon in nearby Giggling Hot Springs (highly recommended),...

My film crew and I rented out the Canon del Rio for one week while we filmed in Jemez Springs. We could not have been happier with the layout, ambiance, and freedom that the folks at Canon del Rio gavels to enjoy the retreat.

Susan gave me a much-need, professional, caring, complete massage. The facilities are top notch. I highly recommend Canon del Rio. It's definitely worth the trip. Since I'm a local resident, I don't need a stay-over, but if you do stay over night, you won't be disappointed.

This was our second time visiting. What else can I add? Breakfasts were outstanding, accommodations clean and comfortable, all on top of a gorgeous setting. Oh yes--do treat yourself to one of the spa offerings. The massage was pure bliss!

We have been going to Canon del Rio in Jemez springs for well over a decade and always have a wonderful time. I recommend at least a two day stay to really take in all CDR has to offer. The spa is also top notch and I highly recommend taking advantage of such a nice facility on site.

This was our third visit - we can't drive through NM without stopping at Canon del Rio. The location is nature at its best, the rooms are very comfortable and the breakfasts are to die for! Always have dinner at Los Ojos down the street - what a fun place! And, of course, we always stop at the Ponderosa Winery...

This was a random find for me, looking to go somewhere for a spa get away birthday weekend. Facial and hot stone massage were absolutely fantastic! I'm not a B&B person; I like the anonymity of a hotel. But the layout is intentionally quite private and quiet, not like a house full of relatives during the holidays. I was enthusiastically...
