If you are looking for a five star hotel this is not it. You will be staying in the town voted "Most Patriotic" in America but you will have to be open and inquisitive to find attractions. If you're looking for Native American jewelry, this is the PLACE. Now on to the hotel, it is charming--stay in the hotel not...

My husband and I were on a road trip through New Mexico and he found this beauty. We loved it. Yes, it's dated but the bed was super comfortable and had more than enough pillows. I did turn up the "air" (I thought) and when we came back in the room was blazing hot! I asked the front desk and...

My 21-year-old daughter and I were on a road trip thru New Mexico and Arizona for her spring break from college. Granted, I feel lucky that any 21-year-old would want to do that with her mother. But she and I love unusual, quirky things, and this hotel is definitely in that realm, as well as being a charmer! We booked...

You won't find many places with the history and kitschy bits and bobs as this hotel and if you're doing the 66 trip it's worth a visit. Room was very basic, no fridge, no tea/coffee or hairdryer and barely any channels on the TV had any signal but if none of that stuff bothers you, you'll be fine! Was pretty...

Like stepping back in time. Interesting lobby and rooms named for classic film stars who were guests in their film eras. Would have enjoyed seeing the suites. We were just an overnight stay, arriving late.

Do not expect Hampton Inn or the Plaza Hotel......but this historical hotel has a charm and feel that is hard to find in 21st century travel locations. The rooms are clean, bed comfortable, TV modern, bathrooms a bit small but fine. The Internet worked fine during our stay. This is the home away from home for many actors who were...

Loved the look of the outside as well as the inside of this hotel. And all the photographs of the famous people that stayed there was an added bonus. We stayed in the John Wayne room--very spacious room, the beds were comfortable also, but the bathroom was tight, but served it's purpose. The only drawback about this establishment was the...

I was looking for something that said "Route 66" and this was the right place. Have you seen pictures of the lobby? Oh ... my ... goodness. Unbelievable. One of the coolest lobbies I've ever seen. The second floor of the lobby has pictures and autographs of the famous people that have stayed here over the years. The lobby was...

El Rancho provides a classic style, reminding you of old days. The location is great, but it is the style, the set-up, the decor, that is the trick. Spacious and old-school. Friendly staff and a nice restaurant gives a full experience

We truly enjoyed our stay in this historic hotel. Due to being on the National Historic Register, everything must be authentic and they have done a good job. Our room was small but clean and just right for two. We had eaten in the restaurant previously and the service was excellent and food good. Before dinner we had drinks in...
