Surly manager should have been my first clue! We kept our clothes and shoes on at all times due to the fact that the beds and carpets were so old and filthy. Four adults had to share one roll of toilet paper for 2 days/nights. Allergies were heightened by growing mold out of the ceiling of one bedroom. Furniture, no...

Rustic is an understatement for ths place. The decor (circa 1970) is beyond tired -- it's worn. We didn't have enough plates and utensils for 4 people. The pots and pans left a lot to be desired, along with cooking utensils. There weren't even paper towels. The owner barely said hello, much less tried to be warm and inviting. We...

We have stayed at the Tall Timber cabins on trips to Cloudcroft for years but this time was our last...although the cabins are fairly nice there are some problems with them. The problems seem to be common to all the cabins as we have stayed in several of them. The good points of the cabins are that the beds are...

Wow. My family and I have been taking weekend trips to Cloudcroft for as long as I can remember. We've never stayed anywhere but Tall Timbers and have always had an amazing time. They are comfortable, cute little cabins on the outskirts of town. It's definatly a great way to relieve stress and have a weekend get-a-way!!

During the past few years, I have stayed at the Tall Timbers Cabins about twice a year. The cabins are always clean, cozy and a great place to just relax and enjoy the mountain atsmophere. As I always request cabin #1 or 2, David or Suzanne (owners) have always accomodated me in providing their best personal care. It is great...

“If you prefer a bigger bed, ask for one of their deluxe cabins with a King bed.”

“We asked for a quiet cabin and that's exactly what we got. Though you have to climb quiet a number of stairs to get there, Cabin 9 offered tranquility.”
