The lodge has some wonderful charm but has poor management. The hotel is not being taken care of and the staff needs training. The lobby has a wonderful fireplace and on a cold windy day I would have expected it to be lit and it was not. The pond out front was green and dirty. The pool out back was...

My family and I have been going to this beautiful old hotel since the 1990s. I have many fond memories. Unfortunately, the hotel seems a little less clean, with fewer amenities. My wife and I and my daughter and I went to the Lodge during Spring Break. The pool and hot tub were closed. The golf course was closed. The...

Was here to play a round of Golf and we had a wonderful time!! The course is absolutely immaculate- gorgeous greens, challenging elevations and tight mowed fairways all in a scenic hill country backdrop. By fay my favorite and most memorable round of golf in a very long time!! Worth the trip! The elevation on the first hole will floor...

You need to be in the historic hotel mindset to appreciate this hotel. What do I mean? Don't compare to a modern day hotel...the rooms are smallish, the decor is decidedly shabby chic, and there are no elevators. But the place is a Cloudcroft institution, and the stories about Rebecca make up for any shortfalls in modernity. The hotel does...

We had a great stay at the Lodge the last weekend in February 2017. The rooms are really nice and very comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant on Friday night and it was extremely expensive. I understand it is the ambiance and I get it but the service and the quality of food that we got did not sum...

For many years my husband and I have only done the Sunday Brunch Buffet at the Cloudcroft Lodge. We decided to spend a mini-vacation at the lodge for our wedding anniversary. OMG! It was the most wonderful experience ever! We stayed in one of the original rooms - nicely appointed with all the amenities. Enjoyed the fire place in the...

My wife and I have been coming to the Lodge every few years for the last 40 years or so. It remains unique and wonderful. Over 100 years old (with a few of the problems of age), but comfortable rooms filled with antique furniture. Staff has always been friendly and accommodating, and they were this time. Especially so, when a...

We have stopped at the Inn several times over the years on our way to Aspen. It is a dramatic rise in elevation for any from S Tx going from 500ft to almost 9,000 so be prepared. It is a very nice old timey hotel with an excellent dining room and a nice bar to eat and lounge around in....

The man that seats is extremely rude. I have eaten there twice and makes a very big deal about reservatios. We were the only one there (table for 2) and the other time a table for 4 If id did not have guests i would have left I would think they would be greeting you at the door for the...

The Spa at The Lodge Resort in Cloudcroft, NM was very quaint and relaxing. Although not a big spa, the peace was felt instantly. Prices are reasonable. My mother-in-law and I had a very good experience and would recommend to others especially in winter. Thank you Maria and Trina for your professionalism yet caring and friendly manners.
