We stopped in this beautiful inn along the way on a multi-stop road trip. Even before we arrived we were enchanted by the peaceful and lovely drive from Santa Fe, especially once we were on the High Road. Opened the windows and breathed the mountain air! Coming up the drive to Casa Escondida, the colorful main house with its Great...

Thank you for your review. I'm glad that you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay. I was concerned about your comments regarding the outdoor lighting, so I checked. I'm doubtful that it was the solar lighting along the walkway. The walkway lights are only about 12 inches above the ground and they barely produce enough light to illuminate the...

We've been to Chimayo many times but this is the first time we stayed overnight. Casa Escondida is so very charming and enabled us to eat dinnner (and lunch) at Rancho de Chimayo and then return to relax here at our B & B. In addition to the charm, our bed was very comfortable and the linens luxurious. We're hoping...

So glad that you enjoyed your stay and the great food at the Rancho de Chimayo. We love our new high-end, orthopedic mattresses too. These are now in all of our guest rooms. Glad that you enjoyed them as well. Keep in mind that we also sell our fantastic luxury bed sheet sets. Just call us to order and we...

We have stayed at Casa Escondida 3 times now and each time is better than the last. We love the location as it is central to everything in Chimayo and it's a great halfway point between Santa Fe and Taos. The room we stay in (Vista) is the best room as it has a private deck with table and chairs...

Thanks for taking the time to post a review of your stay. It was great to have you stay with us again....and the rest of the family as well. We agree, those are stunning mountain views from the deck of the Vista Room! That's a great place to have your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening....

Very Peaceful- Staff Excellent and very friendly and well trained. Breakfasts were superb. Dog friendly, and we had two large dogs who were accommodated easily. One of the best parts was the back patio (not to be missed)with thistle feeders and hummingbird feeders and constant flocks of hummingbirds, gold finches, and numerous other small and medium sized beautiful birds. Location...

Casa Escondido is just the ticket for a quiet retreat, or family gathering. The owner and staff provide a delicious breakfast, smiles, and attention to providing the best experience for their guests. My room was just the right size, and very comfortable bed/sheets/pillow. Two enthusiastic thumbs up to stay here!

We always appreciate returning guests. It is the highest form of praise that we can get. Thank you for that and also for the nice review. We arrived early, but were welcomed to the Sunroom which was perfect for my husband and me. It was a big fiesta/festival weekend roundabout, so the place was fully booked--but quiet and congenial. Thank you for your nice review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We also feel like we offer the best of both worlds. I can't say enough about how wonderful this B & B is.
