We stayed 2 nights at Elaine's and we enjoyed every minute. It's out of the way, tucked into a mountain road. We enjoyed the peaceful patios, the babbling brook, outdoor hot tub, delicious breakfast. The mountain view from our balcony was breathtaking. We just couldn't ask for more. The multi-level lodge is full of interesting nooks and crannies, all decorated...

It's a ten out of ten. We arrived at this amazing place, the location is breathtaking. When we arrived we were greeted by her sweet dog and she guided us to the door. It's a beautiful house, so cozy and inviting. We had the Library room and it was full of books which we loved. The absence of a TV...

On our recent trip to NM, my wife and I chose to try to experience as much of the area as we could. This included staying in several areas, trying to stay in B and B's as much as possible. We came to escape the below zero weather of Wisconsin, however, the weather followed us! We arrived during the "worst...

During our first 2 month independent tour of the USA, Elaine's B&B was our first B&B - honestly, Elaine and her other guests, some of whom have been visiting as friends for over 20 years, made our stay the most memorable of all in the States. We were in Albuquerque to enjoy the mesmerising World Hot Air Balloon Fiesta and...

We were in Albuquerque for a couple of days and wanted to stay in the mountains rather than some generic hotel in town. Elaine's BnB fit the bill perfectly. We were only about 15 minutes from our venue in town, but it seemed like a world away. Loved the log structure, the views, the beautiful setting and especially our hostess....

We stayed here for 4 nights during the balloon festival. We loved the location and the quiet surroundings, just a short drive to Albuquerque but felt very secluded and away from it all. The whole house is beautiful and we loved our room (manzano) which was beautifully decorated, extremely spacious and with stunning views. Elaine was an exceptional host and...

We spent 4 nights at Elaine's at the end of September, 2014 and it was simply wonderful. The property is located in a breathtaking location in the Sandia Mountains outside Albuquerque. It is a huge, rambling, 3-story home with lovely guest rooms, all of which have fantastic views. We stayed in the Sunrise Room, with a private entrance and I...

My wife and I couldn't have stayed at a better retreat than Elaine's for our 25th wedding anniversary. The innkeeper for whom the B&B is named is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Her property is a rustic 3-level log cabin chateau featuring stylish rooms with gorgeous views. Elaine is also a master chef who cooked us some...

Lovely log cabin accommodation just off route 14 only 15 mins from Albuquerque yet in the mountains. Great hostess and great breakfast. Be sure to say hello to Manfred the black lab (a 'she' despite the name!). We had the room at the top of the house -huge room with a balcony -and a big brass bed - but be...

First the view---our room (the Sangre de Cristo Room) faced the east with a private balcony. We were there for two nights and had a beautiful sunrise both mornings---wonderful photography. The best way to view a sunrise is to start taking photos about 30 minutes before the actual sunrise---what a way to start the day. Second, the location, Elaine's is...
