What a delight! This charming hotel is located in the old Mangalemi district, in the heart of town, close to everything you want to visit. It is built on the ruins of the Pasha’s palace with a view of them from the restaurant. It resembles an old Ottoman house and has a quaint courtyard. Our room, # 3, was a...

Close to the town centre, this was a beautiful old building/ hotel. Staff very pleasant & helpful. Our quiet room although small was perfectly formed with good firm beds - not much of a view. Good shower etc. However, this hotel would not be very suitable for anyone with mobility problems We had breakfast, lunch & dinner all very good...

Rooms are beautifully designed and well equipped. Nice small garden with special archtecture. Special great roof balcony with view to river. And a very good restaurant. Seems to be the best place to stay in Berat/

Excellent hotel, owner run by Tomi and his son. Started as a small restaurant and one by one, bedrooms were added over the years to now become a superb entity that it now is. Its style is Ottoman meets 21st century plumbing with particularly efficient and friendly staff all of whom speak excellent English. A brilliant, reasonably priced menu completes...

Hotel occupies two old Turkish houses in centre of Old Berat, renovated to an excellent standard. High standard of service and cleanliness. Very welcoming feeling. I was not in the main building, but the second building - which is not next to the main one, but some distance up a cobbled street - which would cause problems for anybody with...

Great small hotel in Berat. based in an old Turkish mansion but every mod con. Owner managed I think. We had a room near the roof with a balcony cut into the tiles giving us great views over the town. We dined in and the food and wine were fine as was the selection of rakis in the bar. One...

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our tour of Albania. Located in the charming, old quarter of Berat in a cluster of traditional buildings. We had a characterful, good sized bedroom with private patio in a building off of their central courtyard. Great shower, but the poorly designed bathroom left little legroom in the toilet area because...

Be aware the streets are bumpy and made up of stones. If you have mobility issues then you need to research and consider if Berat is a good place for you to visit. We were lucky enough to have a room in the newly refurbished annex which is about 120m from the main hotel building. It's a walk up a...

Wonderful Hotel in the heart of Berat in authentic local design. I stayed in a sie building of the Hotel, which was very quite and the room came with a small terrace. All very clean and tidy. The breakfast comes as a buffet and is reasonable. Will stay here on my next trip to town for sure.
