The hotel is about halfway between the railway station and the old walled city, so about 1km either way. It’s walkable if you have it in you.
The room was small/medium sized with a double bed, a dressing table and seat, a couch built into the walls, a mini bar and an ensuite bathroom. The AC worked well. The bed had a soft/medium spring mattress. Unusual for Thailand, but comfortable. However, the blanket was too thin and I woke up a couple of times from being too cold. Otherwise, the room was comfortable to stay in. The WiFi worked well and the table was comfortable to work on with my laptop. The ensuite was an open bathroom and toilets, so water gets everywhere if you're not careful. It's dries by morning, so not a big deal. Fresh soap, shampoo and towels were provided every day.
The hotel has an attached cafe and Dim Sum restaurant. Breakfast was included in the price, but it's just a cup of coffee. If you want to eat, then that's extra. The breakfast in the cafe is mainly western style. I also tried the Dim Sum for breakfast a couple of times, although there's only 2 vegetarian options.
Overall, I had a good, comfortable stay. The staff speak English, are welcoming and friendly. In retrospect, I should’ve asked for thicker covers and at least then I would’ve been completely happy with my stay. Although I was disappointed by the included breakfast, the price of the hotel was very reasonable for the room.
First time in this restaurant and YOU need to go! Group of six of us , The food is excellent, generous portions and great prices. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommended it if you’re in the area Korat ! Yummy yummy

And be careful there is a local bar downstairs and create unacceptable noise, so request a room far away from the bar as far as possible.
Come out in the night, it seems like there are some hookers around the hotel as well. Be aware of that.
It is central enough to pick up the bus in the morning (when tuk-tuks can be a bit hard to find). Friendly enough, a decent breakfast was also included in the price.
Korat isn't really a tourist destination - it is a bit drab but we did not see much more than the night market, leaving in the early morning and returning at night for dinner and a massage. It has, however, great connections to Bangkok and other big cities. Phanom Rung can easily be visited in a day and Phimai in half a day.
The hotel resturant wasn't much to shout about despite the rather extensive and exotic-looking menu.
