I stayed here for 4 nights in room 303.

The hotel is about halfway between the railway station and the old walled city, so about 1km either way. It’s walkable if you have it in you.

The room was small/medium sized with a double bed, a dressing table and seat, a couch built into the walls, a mini bar and an ensuite bathroom. The AC worked well. The bed had a soft/medium spring mattress. Unusual for Thailand, but comfortable. However, the blanket was too thin and I woke up a couple of times from being too cold. Otherwise, the room was comfortable to stay in. The WiFi worked well and the table was comfortable to work on with my laptop. The ensuite was an open bathroom and toilets, so water gets everywhere if you're not careful. It's dries by morning, so not a big deal. Fresh soap, shampoo and towels were provided every day.

The hotel has an attached cafe and Dim Sum restaurant. Breakfast was included in the price, but it's just a cup of coffee. If you want to eat, then that's extra. The breakfast in the cafe is mainly western style. I also tried the Dim Sum for breakfast a couple of times, although there's only 2 vegetarian options.

Overall, I had a good, comfortable stay. The staff speak English, are welcoming and friendly. In retrospect, I should’ve asked for thicker covers and at least then I would’ve been completely happy with my stay. Although I was disappointed by the included breakfast, the price of the hotel was very reasonable for the room.

We didn't stay in the hotel but had a good meal in the restaurant. Nice, comfortable dining room. The dim sum were some of the best we have found in Thailand. I had the pork cordon bleu with chips which was good 'though too big for me to finish.

Khorat is not a touristic place, but this hotel is a good budget option. I stayed here to visit Phimai and sample the local atmosphere. Although close to the centre, this hotel is pretty quiet. At $ 15 night for a well equipped room, this is a good deal. The small restaurant is good for breakfast, for dinner go to the nightmarket.

Not a bad hotel to stay for one or two nights during your trip. Have a secured car parking, free wi-fi, restaurant with Thai and European food. Breakfast 3 only choice. Rooms are big and clean. We stay in superior room for the promotions price 550 thb without breakfast (75 for breakfast coupon).

If you just look for a place to sleep over a night and you wanna to save as much as possible (bag packers), this place is a choice (just a choice not even nice). The price is very reasonable of course, and room is just fine (I even felt it is a love hotel somehow --- room around by mirrors).

And be careful there is a local bar downstairs and create unacceptable noise, so request a room far away from the bar as far as possible.

Come out in the night, it seems like there are some hookers around the hotel as well. Be aware of that.

I booked this after searching online and finding out that the city is not a touristy place so selection is limited. When i first entered my room it reminded me of a shortstay hotel.....(if you don't know what that is sorry you will have to look it up) The rooms are dingy and worn out. The bench seat buy the door had more stained vinyl then unstained vinyl. They are also clean, cheap and have all the usuall amenities save one. There was only one outlet for power. I had to keep switching around camera/computer/phone to charge everything. The neds are so hard they make cement feel soft. I know beds in Asia are harder then western beds...I live in Asia but this bed is the hardest i have ever slept on...and I have slept on the floor many times. Curiously the bathroom si part of the main room. It has no ceiling so you can toss things to your friends while they shower. Becasue of this the room has an exhaust fan built into the wall that is so loud it drowns out the A/C unit.

There is nothing much to visit in Korat except it could be used as a transit point on your onward journey. The hotel is quite centrally located and close to railway and bus station. The hotel has a classy look and the room is clean and carpetted. The room facilities are hot water,mini-fridge,TV,dressing table, telephone ,cabinet to hang clothes and also a sofa set to relax.Security wise , the room entry is by card system. The bathroom is large and clean, slippers are provided. The windows have mosquito netting, to ensure you have a good night sleep. There is a large restaurant on the groung floor of the hotel which caters for all kinds of food, mainly Thai. They provide free breakfast which is quite basic and reasonably good.Motorbike/tuk-tuk to night market cost 50B/60B from hotel, there is nothing much to see and Korat sleeps by 9pm.I will reccommend this hotel for a night stopover and the rates are acceptable.

Used Korat as a base for visiting Phimai and Phanom Rung. This hotel did the job well - a ten-minute walk from the train station, reasonably quiet, room functional and clean.

It is central enough to pick up the bus in the morning (when tuk-tuks can be a bit hard to find). Friendly enough, a decent breakfast was also included in the price.

Korat isn't really a tourist destination - it is a bit drab but we did not see much more than the night market, leaving in the early morning and returning at night for dinner and a massage. It has, however, great connections to Bangkok and other big cities. Phanom Rung can easily be visited in a day and Phimai in half a day.

The hotel resturant wasn't much to shout about despite the rather extensive and exotic-looking menu.

It has been a little while since we stayed at the Siri Hotel, at the time there was no problem, it was plane and simple, but this is what I expected for the price. Service was good and rooms were clean. The karaoke rooms were enjoyed by my Thai family, as most of the music is Thai. Going back to Khorat next year and will look at staying at the Siri hotel again.
