A local friend booked us a room at this unfinished resort near his home
Hotel consists of mini villas on both sides of a flat stone path that leads down to the street facing the beach. There is a restaurant and bar that is on the beach front which are also built using a rock theme and has toilet facilities.
There was a very large building at the rear of the property which I was told was going to be the reception area and have additional rooms.
The room I rented was new and appeared to have never been occupied before. The Air Conditioning was new and worked great, the water was plentiful and the heater worked. The bed was comfortable and room was very large with windows of good quality. There was a small outdoor seating area at the front entrance with stones to sit on.
The owner showed up a short time later and made our stay quite enjoyable by showing us his resort and making coffee for us numerous times.
There is a mini mart that is on the corner and appears to be a part of the resort.
There are more restaurants down along the beach which in March was quiet and seemed to be low season already.
The area is close to the old ferry jetty that went to Koh Samui and the beach is clean, uncrowded and beautiful.

I'm a keen swimmer and snorkeller and this is the best beach on the gulf coast. The bungalows are comfortable tastefully furnished and spacious. The staff are very helpful and my Thai wife who is highly critical rates the food highly . OK breakfast is very basic but if that important to you order off the menu. My wife asked for kettle and cups etc for tea/ coffe making in rooms which they did immediately...you just need to know how to ask nicely! The place is isolated and own transport is probably essential but after the sewer that is Samui it suited us fine.Khanom town ,which is also quite small is only 15 minutes drive to go to the market Tesco Lotus etc,so if this scenario suits your dynamic you'll struggle to find better

Great place to stay. Nice beach and not yet spoiled by tourists. Mainly used by Thai tourists.
Explore the coast to the South as it is worth a visit and lots of beach with few tourists. A good alternative to Kohli Samui if you want to avoid the crowds.
Seafood is featured at most restaurants.

Great place and a quiet Thai resort. If you want a quiet place with a great beach come here. It’s very clean and really good value for money. The breakfast was good again don’t expect western food but the omelette was good so there are alternatives. I’d come back and stay again staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely friendly beach resort and very reasonably priced. Accommodation is either detached chalets or rooms in a two storey block. Rooms are clean and spacious with TV. The rooms in the block all have their own balcony and chalets have private patio/seating area. All accommodation is good value for money and include breakfast. There is a bar and restaurant on the beach which serves snacks and meals all day, which again is very reasonably priced. The resort also offers boat trips to go dolphin watching. A two hour trip during my stay was 1200bhat for the boat which can comfortably accommodate 6-8 passengers.
Reccommedand will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

This resort has great bungalows and rooms. Very good AC for Thailand. Awesome English speaking staff and beach views! Be sure to take the boat ride to see the pink dolphins and little Buddhist temple on the island!

We had a family room for 4 adults which consisted of 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms. The rooms were spacious and located less than a minute from a spectacular beach. Even though the communication between ourselves and staff was slightly difficult, they still provided an outstanding service, helping us to deal with a taxi driver who tried to rip us off, and provided a personal taxi service to the pier the next day.

After travelling the whole day we decided to sleep over before we catch the ferry to Koh Samui. We ended up looking for a nice and affordable place to stay and found this gem. It is not located right in Khanom it is located just outside but closer to the Seatran Ferry pier. Great rooms, not so great breakfast but then again you get what you pay for. Perfect beach, we spend the whole afternoon on the white powder sandy beach with the kids. Great limestone cliffs and awesome vibe around the resort. The rooms were really clean and spacious. Will definitely stay here again.
