People always dream of a perfect secluded beach in paradise.. Now I've found it!! I cannot impress enough how ideal this resort is.. I'm almost afraid to tell others as much of its beauty is how private and special this place is, my own personal heaven. And the best place this year to spend my birthday accompanied by a dear friend who kept thanking me for showing her this fantastic resort. And who wouldn't love the constant sound of waves breaking on the beach, the luscious sea breeze blowing across your body keeping the temperature just perfect as you sit on lounge chairs enjoying fresh fruit smoothies served by a very attentive and friendly staff. You can tell by how happy the workers are that the very kind owner Max takes great care of them like family which really adds to the overall pleasant atmosphere. And they were so sweet and loving to me, making me feel very special and welcomed bringing me cake and ice cream singing Happy Birthday. My heart was very touched. By the end of my visit we all became great friends and a couple of the staff ladies took us on a hike around the area to see the view, while monkeys jumped into trees nearby. They helped me learn new Thai words while we assisted them with their English they were eager to master. Which came in handy when we all went into the village's marketplace and they helped us negotiate good prices. But if you go to town for a very touristy experience, this is not the place. None of the typical souvenirs, this is an authentic Thai fishing village, very friendly but not catering to "farang" ( foreigners) which I found quite refreshing! We did do the local tourist attraction of going out one day on longboats in search of the pink dolphins that live in the wild there, certainly a worthwhile adventure the resort arranged for us. But you might not have to go that far for dolphins as my friend saw one swim right by the resort's beach one morning! What a treat! I can't thank Max enough for sharing his gem of a place and giving us such love and personal care. I look forward to seeing how much his new garden grows so we can eat more from it next year. Let me not forget to mention how delicious all of our meals were... mmmmm! I look forward to returning again and again, creating many more favorite memories.

You simply have to stay here. Not only because of the amazing, unspoiled, beautiful, natural location, but because the manager Max works so incredibly hard to make your stay special in every way. We have been here for two nights. It was a public holiday in Thailand and the resort has been full. Even at capacity, Max gave us personal attention and went out of his way to ensure we had the best experience possible. You can tell he's completely committed to this incredible resort. He brings European standards of hospitality to the most beautiful of Thai settings. The food served for lunch and dinner is high class and the accommodation itself is well appointed and boutique. The pool is about to be finished and when it's ready to use, the whole resort will go up another level. We recommend you stay here wholeheartedly.

My girlfriend and I find this place perfect for a getaway from everything.
It was the first stop of our journey in Thailand. After a afternoon flight from BKK to SRT, the driver, organized by our host, brought us there in late hours. We woke up next morning with the private beach on the doorstep of our room. The food was very good but slightly more expensive.
We found the bed a little to hard. Unfortunately, at the time, the sea was quite rough because of the wind.
Bottom line, it was very good experience. Recommended.....

It was my 2nd visit.
You can expect a beachfront bungalow on the private beach.
Price is a bit costly but it worth to pay if you want a peaceful place.
Staffs are friendly and helpful. Food is ok and price is acceptable.
Power failure can be occurred sometime.

A true island hide away on a secluded beach. Quiet, beautiful and clean. Chilled vibe, great pool and you can hear the waves from the room. It's a special find. Staff are kind and caring, music is great, a true tropical secret. Close to Samui pier

I booked an ocean view cottage for 4 nights through one of the internet providers. When I checked in realized that no Wi-Fi was available in the ocean view unit. I requested to be moved to one which this service is available as this feature is shown in tripAdvisor I needed access to internet during my stay. The one until available was the so called "Boathouse" which is next to the lobby/restaurant an extremely dark and basic place without chairs/sofa,table,cupboard,fridge,safe, T.V, toothbrush with only very small windows was not able to see the seaside...in other words just space for the mattresses maximum livable space is about 15 square meters spread over two levels ( agoda advertises 380 square meters booking.com shows 100 livable square meters!!!) After checking in I received a phone call from the manager wife. She was rude and explained that this room cost much more than the one I booked and she asked me how I am going to settle the difference. I settled later this issue with the resort manager that instead staying 4 days at the beach front cottage I will stay 2 days at the Boathouse for the same price. After having seen the room I had no intention to stay longer!!! in so many years of traveling through Asia and most part of the world I never recalled receiving such a bad welcome. By the way their was just one more guest. This place was empty. To cut the story short I paid over 12,000 Bath for 2 nights for a horrible room. The shower collapsed every time when I used it and their was hardly any water pressure........
Their is also good things at this resort. It is located on an extremely quiet attractive beach surrounded by a lush tropical forest. The local staff are extremely nice. Thanks for the excellent service provided by the cook the local friendly Thai reception (khun sai) and the bartender/waiter (khun po)... great job!!!!! The restaurant has been designed in a very attractive way...the lighting particularly is great....
Conclusion nice place to go for lunch or dinner better spent your night in the close neighborhood just a few minutes a way are some new cottages with all the latest features for a fraction of the price!!!!!!!!!

Dear Chutima. Thanks for your comment. I totally understand you did not like the fact that there were no internet connection in your room but let me rectify some points. The room you got when you checked in had no internet. Then we propose you our boathouse room to guarantee you a connection. This room is one of the most appreciated room of our resort. About the size, you must confuse with our four bedroom family bungalow. What i m wondering now is why you did not tell me about these issues before ? I asked you several time if everything were ok in the room and you always answered yes. I also propose you to move to another hotel where they have Wifi everywhere but you insist for staying there. I note you did not appreciate our welcome. When you checked in, you complained there is no fridge in the room so you can't store all the cheese and the wine you bring with you. You did not appreciate that we are asking you corkage fee. As you are travelling through Asia since many years, you should know that you always pay a corkage fee when you bring some wine in a restaurant or a bar. I believe that make sense for most of the travellers. You mentioned about what is in Agoda or Booking so you probably notice there that we had a restaurant and a bar. Maybe the welcome you were expecting would have been to let you drink your box of wine during your stay. Thanks for noticing how friendly is our staff. I m glad you had a great time in our restaurant and you appreciated the service quality. After all, we probably don t deserve a one star for this..

We stayed 6 days in this beautiful resort. It was in a paradise in every way.
Host Max did everything to make it 200% to your liking. The area is beautiful and unique if you like peace, beach and good food. You are really bound to the rsort because it is quite remote. If that is your goal you have a paradise here. The rooms are clean and spacious. Highly recommended.
Max, thanks and I think we will come back again.

We stayed here for five days and wish we could have stayed longer. It is the only resort on a long stretch of beach and is surrounded by hills, palm trees and a forest.
The resort and the bungalows are clean, nicely decorated and offer everything you need for a relaxing and peaceful stay.
The owner, his wife and family are extraordinarily nice people and are always thinking of ways of how to further improve their beautiful resort. We also really appreciated the fact that they are working on being as eco-conscious as possible.. no plastic bottles, plastic straws, etc..
Also, very friendly and helpful staff.

We will definitely come back here when we make it to Thailand the next time.

Swaying coconut trees, beautiful lawn, sunkissed beach and the turquoise sea lay down the perfect setting for this beach resort. We visited this place in May 2019. This place is away from the maddening crowd and is perfect for relaxation. The cottages are nicely done. Max and his team are doing a great job.
