We think this is the best place to stay in the area. $3,800 baht for a very nice ocean front spa suite with killer view seemed like a bargain to us. We enjoyed the private veranda with full ocean view. Wonderful pool and great staff. Breakfast included along with free wifi in the rooms. Unfortunately, management decided to charge us $4,000 baht per day, after they had shown us the room and told both of us the price was $3,800. They refused to budge and that put a damper on an otherwise nice stay. Also note that the restaurant food is expensive and there is NO BEACH. We always rent motorbikes and prefer eating out, so that was no problem for us.

When we arrived they put us at a room very far from reception ... at very farthest part of hotel ... a lonely feeling place with a window looking out on roofs. We asked if we could have another room but they said no. The hotel was almost empty. The next day we asked again and they said 'no' again that the other rooms were more expensive. But we said what sense does it make to keep us in this gloomy room while other rooms have nice view with no one to admire it! So they eventually did agree and we were put in a lovely room high over lashing sea. It was nice ... and it and all the other nice rooms were empty while we were in carcarated in a cell like place!
The hotel feels like three star ... not five.
The staff try their best but obviously not sufficiently trained.

I just stay for one night at Racha Kiri Resort & Spa.
This hotel is a beautiful location, private area and peaceful for relax.
My room is Deluxe Suite #308 with a wonderful seaview. The room is a bit old but nice balcony and big bathtub.
Staff are very helpful and friendly with smile.
The restaurant is very nice seaview and good food with good taste. Also, F&B staff are nice and friendly.

Thank you for warm welcome!!

This property is in need of significant upgrade. The condition is so very poor. Everything about the room was in need to replacing, not just additional cleaning. And the open shower concept looks nice until you actual use the shower and water goes everywhere. A shower curtain wold be a good addition.

The breakfast was very unappealing and we ate elsewhere.

The lighting is extremely poor and dangerous. on one path I counted only 6 of 36 lights actually working. Many stairs also lack sufficient light and railings. This location is not safe.

What an oasis of peace! We had a superior room with a sea view. Really beautiful!! The breakfast is very extensive and very tasty. The hotel employees are all very friendly. Beer and Nun in particular made our stay very pleasant, nothing was too much. Beer even cycled with us in his spare time and showed us local things. We almost had the swimming pool to ourselves.

The WiFi in the room was not very good, but you could go to the restaurant for that, where you will be spoiled with coffee, juices, bananas

Unfortunately, this is a really bad review, the facility is actually extremely beautifully laid out, but it is inconceivable how an exclusive facility like this has run down so much in 15 years. The rooms are dirty and especially the bathroom full of lime stains and rust. Just a shame.
On Friday, wedding parties are often held at the hotel next to it, which are very loud, so don't forget earplugs.
Also the pool area nicely landscaped but dirty, lots of leaves in the pool etc...
Very bad, we would have liked to come back, but here in Konom there are much better and nicer facilities for the money.

Stayed here for detox retreat. Many walking trails outside of this resort - either through coconut plantation to waterfall or along the seashore. Setting is beautiful, not easy to find in Asia. Rooms are clean and comfortable with ocean front balcony overlooking Koh Samui. You can rent a scooter for $8 per day to downtown area. It's safe because not much traffic there.

I stayed in this hotel last week and cannot fault the location or building. the room was large and there was a lovely view from the balcony. excellent bathroom and comfy bed. breakfast was adequate, main meals good. there was also a local restaurant serving excellent, cheap food about 5 mins walk down the road. the pool is the best one i have ever been in! however, there were very few other guests wich led to a strange feeling of a deserted hotel and for 2 of our nights stay very loud, tuneless karaoke. the staff were very polite and helpful.

We were searching for a place offering peace and quiet after a whole year of hard work and problems. We arrived at Racha Kiri very tired and stiff, both mentally and physically and were greeted with smiles and open arms of the wonderful staff at the front desk. After our welcome drink we were shown to our room by the luggage bearers. It was everything and more than we had hoped. A beautiful and large room with en-suite bathroom with a separate shower, twin wash basins and a large bath tub (with waterfall). Bathrobes and slippers were also provided and the wardrobe space was above the usual standard. The large balcony with it's huge built in sofa, two armchairs and a table was directly by the sea and we had the most fabulous view imaginable. The staff, the food, the location and the facilities were perfect for us and we had the most perfect holiday ever. We needed to charge our batteries and the peace and harmony that Racha Kiri provided was medicine for the soul. The nearby fishing village was a delight. We watched the longtails and other smaller boats every morning as we drank our "wake upp coffee" on the balcony and again as the sun went down behind the mountain. The long untouched beach stretched all around the bay and not a sun lounger or vender as far as the eye could see. I can understand that this kind of resort doesn't suit everyone especially those more at home in the rush and commerce of eg. Patong. But for us it was absolutely the best choice of resort we have ever made and we are definitely going there again. Even though we were there two weeks we didn't want to leave the Racha Kiri or the wonderfully considerate and helpful people we met there. We have found that Heaven is a place on Earth and for us it is Racha Kiri in Khanom. Chan Ja Kid Thueng Kuun until the day we return. L and J - Sweden

Arrived at the hotel for a three night stay

Room was horrible , dirty and in desperate need of decorating

Toilet seat was yellow and whole place looked run down

After complaint to the management they tried to offer another room but at another 1500 baht per night!

Room was equally as bad

Eventually asked for my money back and went to avava resort which is fantastic

This resort is rated a 4 star compared to 5 for the racha kiri!

I don't know who are doing these reviews but they have clearly never been to either hotel

Avoid the racha kiri at all costs

Disgusting
