I really can't say much as this is my first day/night here. The food looks great and I will be eating here. BUT on two separate occasions I have sat at the bar and waited for anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes just to order a beer. Yes there is staff here and not doing much as it is not...

I've stayed here twice now and while the rooms are somewhat average the restaurant is probably the best one around the area, the food is mid to fair priced but the hotel rooms are fairly cheap, definitely worth a stay especially if you want to be by the beach. Bars are between a 5 and 10 minute walk from the...

Well, I made 3 dives. New York, el capitan and El barges. The dives at the wrecks are nice, cool. The really bad point is the visibility. The visibility is really poor and bad. Can't appreciate good the wrecks. If you like dive with a poor visibility then it's okay. If not better don't Dive at subic. Else barges is...

I stayed here 2 times within the last month. I will try to review both stays in a way that makes sense. Stay 1 - I booked through Agoda and got a good deal on a beachfront room. Upon check-in we were informed they over booked so we were given a deluxe "beachfront" room for the same price. I put...

This used to be the trendy place to stay and one of the few beachfront hotels in Subic but they have been surpassed by newer competitors. Place looks tired, tiny pool full of noisy kids, basic rooms. Restaurant is good but that's about all the Blue Rock has going for it these days. Prices are comparatively high for the standard...

Best Steak in Subic. We had dinner here and it was the best grilled Australian steak i've had in subic! For P780 you get a 450g steak, cooked to perfection, with a huge plate of sidings. The food was amazing, and I will be back for more. The ambiance was decent, with a live band and beach front. Was a...

I love staying here because of the convenience and getting a table right on the beach for morning coffee. It is a great place if you are staying for no more than 2 or 3 days but the rooms are not set up for long term as they are old, tired and dated. Good food and drinks and I love...

On advice from a friend I brought my family here for a few days. Not enough space for 2 small kids. We felt out of place here as the majority of guests were single old men looking for that which we weren't. I'm sure this is a fine spot for them. But not for a family. Food is good and...

We did not have a good start to our stay here, first they gave us a room with a sea view overlooking a roof, and then made us wait three hours for an alternative room which was better and right on the beach. I have stayed in place for less money and far better. Our room could do with updating/...
