Tauch Terminal went way beyond our expectations. We were expecting a three star resort but arrived to an immaculate resort and spa that deserves four stars at the very least. It is immaculate. From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave you are made to feel welcome and valued. It’s a tranquil setting right on the beach so dining and having a sundowner each evening is a real pleasure. The quality of the food is excellent value for money and over five days we ate every meal at the hotel and enjoyed everything we ordered. The BBQ on New Years Eve was extremely special to say the least. This is a German family owned hotel and the quality of the rooms is to an incredibly high standard again way beyond what we paid for the room . Everything worked . We couldn’t find fault . The beds are so comfortable we struggled to get out of bed in the morning. The diving is excellent and the hire prices make it affordable twice a day. Peter the dive master is worth a special mention. We travel extensively and this is a gem . Try it . We will be back

Great resort if you want to dive allot. Although it was very quietly the service was excellent. Rooms are clean and comfy. We had a room at the first floor with a stunning ocean view balcony. Pools are good, one with a bar next to it.
Divingcenter was nice and easy going. We made 2-3 dives a day and they brought us everywhere we wanted to go. Guides know the area pretty good and showed us allot of (small) stuff.
They keep up with the maintenance as we could see our self. Painted the chairs/tables and upgrading a few rooms completly without being disturbing or loudly.
Restaurant served good food and the staff was friendly and knew what we wanted to drink after a few days. We had breakfast every day there and a few times lunch/dinner.
The only small thing I would change is to lower the bushes at the (bar)pool, so you get an infinity pool.

My wife and I stayed for two nights, we had all the meals in the airy restaurant and I went for a beach dive with a super easy access walking over a special wire mesh into the water. Otherwise my tender feet would have suffered walking on those pebbles with a heavy tank on my back. I had a dive instructor for myself, who pointed out reef sharks, moray eel, cleaner shrimp, ribbon eel, stone fish and many others. We liked the friendly family atmosphere, meeting other guests easily and at the same time, feeling secure with everyone following the Corona protocol. You can refill drinking water from the dispensers which reduces plastic bottles - a nice gesture! I wished more places would do that - and not trying to make extra money by selling bottled water. We came on our bicycles, and the friendly hotel staff helped us to give them a thorough clean and oil the chains for the trip back to Ubud.

My friends and I stayed at Tauch Terminal resort while on a diving trip in Tulamben. It was the perfect place to spend the time in between our dives and to relax! The staff was very laid back and professional and made sure we had everything we needed at all times.
The resort itself is beautiful and very clean! The ocean view, the tasty fresh fish dinners, the spacious rooms and the chill atmosphere for a couple of beers in the evening was more than we expected to find in Tulamben. By far the nicest place in the region/area! Hope to be back!

Dive: I had a great time learning how to dive here. Peter, the instructor, was really friendly and answered all my questions happily even months before I got there 😃 I started out pretty scared but in the end did 10 dives including the open water and advanced adventurer certification within 5 days. I always learn something new and receive helpful feedback on what I did well and what to improve on every dive, and was given just the right balance of independence and help. It was a really fun learning experience, and definitely makes me want to explore and learn more!
The dive sites are all very close (one literally in front of the dive base in the resort, one wreck just a short walk away, one a short bike ride away), accessible for beginners, and are all very interesting (I saw a shark in the wreck site!)
Stay: The resort is awesome. When I first got there I was actually pretty shocked, the pictures online looked nice but if you see it in real life it's way more beautiful, especially when it's sunny (which is 90+% the time I was there). I got the cheapest room but it has huge glass doors and windows directly looking at the beautiful ocean (you can hear the waves from your room!), very spacious and nicely decorated. Outside of the room, there are lots of nice places to chill outside (balcony, pools, restaurant) and everything looks nicely decorated and maintained.
The people working there are very friendly and seems very tight-knit, and the resort in general seems to have a good relationship with the local community and the environment. The food is very good and varied as well, I was very happy with every meal I got there. All of these makes it a very enjoyable stay, and time seems to go so fast and so slow there at the same time.
I will definitely be back!

The resort's view and atmosphere is beautifully amazing.
We stayed in two rooms with inter-connecting door in between, I love the way they design the space, very creative and beautiful!
The resort is offering a free scheduled scuba trial in the pool with professional dive instructor, our son enjoyed it very much. We plan to come back to stay here again this year to book a DSD package, they currently have special offer up to 50% off on diving packages until April 2022. This must be something huge for dive lovers and those wanting to learn diving.
The food at the restaurant was superb. My son even can not move on from his cheese and beef quesadilla, oh he loves it so much and I love my Nasi Ayam Betutu:)
A pool table is available at the rooftop and our son loved playing pool and spent time there. The resort also offers variety spa and massage treatment at the spa, I enjoyed my massage and reflexology so much, it was so relaxing.
While my husband enjoyed exploring the beautiful under-water creatures through diving and snorkeling activity that was done right from the resort's beach-front without required a boat transportation.
The Service was great, staff were very friendly and accommodating in all areas.
Our overall stay at Tauch Terminal Dive Resort and Spa was completely fantastic!

Been here multiple times for at least two/three nights each stay and every time we never want to leave. We spent new years here and especially during these times it was so refreshing and reassuring. The hotel is very relaxing, the staff are great, along with the management, and the place is absolutely stunning! The food is delicious and especially enjoyable with any view all the spots can offer, the open restaurant, the engaging bar, the comfortable lounge, even the rooms. The dive center is always ready to go and is complete with everything you’d need for the dive trips and snorkeling, which you’ll want to try cause the entire place is on the shoreline, perfectly in front of the Liberty Wreck from World War 2. I love being in the pool and just looking at the uninterrupted horizon, every time I need to calm my mind, this place always does the trick. Honestly, we would live here if we could!

Greetings from Singapore. I would like to congratulate the owner for having such a wonderful team. With a happy team that is well taken off by the top management; they make sure that all guests are in good hands, knowing that they have to uphold the name of the Taunch Terminal. Food is excellent and tasty, coffee is by expresso machine, juices are freshly prepared, and cocktails is always delicious and packed with herbs. There is a dive shop on site, which makes everything so fuss free staying on the property. Wake up at 7.30, goes to the dive shop to gear up and be ready to dive in 10 minutes. The dive guides and the dive crews are always so service orientated, and even helped to wash equipment uninitiated! I had airport transfer booked from a 3rd party online app and had a last minute cancel, and the hotel was able to secure transport and make sure I can reach the airport in time! My advice to those considering a dive trip to Tulamben, choose this property, you will not regret it. Make it a full board experience and worry about nothing else. All the way from transport, food, dive trips, Taunch Terminal have them all in house. I have only 3 small concerns that could be improved to the hard product of the property. 1) Have a higher stand for the water dispenser 2) Perhaps have music near the pool more often - understand some guest might want to enjoy the waves and quietness. 3) Have bigger umbrella for the beach chairs near the restaurant, but be mindful of not blocking the wonderful view from the restaurant. This is the second I stay here, clean, organized, timely service. Rooms are comfortable, spacious, perfectly maintained and arranged in detail. Fresh!!!! Food has a good variety of local and international taste, delicious and Fresh!! Easy access and location, right at a privileged spot where you can choose a different adventure every day or simply enjoy the facility and the view all day under the palm trees. Staff is amazing, welcoming, friendly and kind.

The resort has friendly and kind staff who provided a wonderful 2-night stay. We relaxed and had easy access to the dive centre. The dives were well managed and visability was great on the ship wreck and on the wall, highly recommended.
The food was great and the bar was well stoked and all at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be going back. Thank you

We have stayed at Tauch Terminal Tulamben recently. If you want a transfer/driver I can recommend moyo-tulamben. He is based in Tulamben and we used him for transfers from DPS to Tulamben, local transfers to Amed and returns to DPS or Kuta. We are returning to Tulamben and Amed in September and will be using him again.
Thanks a lot for contacting us. Yes we do offer Airport transfer at a rate of 65 Euro for a car with up to 4 person. There is no fixed schedule, you simply send us your flight details, name and number of person and we do the rest...Sunny greetings from Bali, Axel
Hallo in die Hauptstadt, danke fuer die Mail bzw Frage.
Wir sind ein extrem Eco-orientiertes Resort und dadurch hat sich auch in der gesamten Gegend ein gewisses Verstaendnis fuer die Umwelt entwickelt. Nicht zuletzt weil wir sogar durch Schulen ziehen und Aufklaerungsarbeit leisten um speziell bei den juengeren ein entsprechendes Bewusstsein zu " saehen ".
Gaeste bekommen bei uns z.B eine schoene Trinkflasche geschenkt, die gratis permanent wieder mit Trinkwasser aufgefuellt warden kann. Keine Plastikflaschen im Resort. keine Plastikstrohhalme sondern Bambus. Muell wird so gut wie moeglich recycled. Heisswasser kommt ueber Solaranlagen. Energiesparende Beleuchtung. Fast 100% Chemiefreie Reinigungsmittel, um nur einige Dinge zu nennen. Der Strand und das Meer in Tulamben sind sauber.

Moin Nicole, danke fuer die Kontaktaufnahme. Wir tauchen zum Wrack, Korallengarten, Steilwand und Statues direkt vom Strand. Fuer die anderen Tauchplaetze in 5 bis 10 Minuten Bootsentfernung kommen die Boote direkt vor unsere Basis. Best fishes, Axel
