Absolutely Best Diving Resort 👍
We stayed as a family of 5 at Ricardo and can recommend this Resort with full conviction. The bungalows are d the perfect value for money. They are cleaned daily and have great air conditioning. Each Bungalow has a small terrace to relax on, also the pool area and the outdoor area is well maintained and beautiful. The food in the restaurant is very delicious and affordable and vegetarians will also find suitable dishes here.
Breakfast is also very tasty. The diving courses friendly and patient, there is nothing we did not like.

They helped arrange a shockingly cheap taxi ride from the Denpasar Airport (USD $45, 3 hours away).
Good diving, friendly dive master, and good accommodations. There were other divers while we were there, but we ended up doing 5 local dives with just the divemaster. The USAT Liberty at sunrise was definitely worth getting up early for.
The rental equipment is definitely showing its age (BCs, regs, tanks with very slow leaks sticky valves, etc) but nothing seemed unsafe.
The restaurant has a limited menu, but the dishes hold up well against those of much fancier Indonesian resorts. Best soto ayam we had.

We had a lovely time at this resort. The AC worked great! The patio was a nice quiet place to admire the view of Mt Agung and listen and watch the birds. The bed was comfortable and the outdoor shower was nice too. Dining for most of our meals was at the two restaurants that are owed by the same person (Ricardo) as the resort and we enjoyed it all. The dive shop was also at the resort. Kobang was a good dive guide and the USAT wreck/artificial reef was our favorite dive site.
The resort is a great place to admire the beautiful gardens, get a good night's sleep, and swim in the infinity pool. It's a great bang for your buck! Communications with Ricardo were answered promptly and he arranged for our transfer to/from the DPS airport as well as an all day driver to see some of the sights on Bali.

The Resort is small and a relaxing place to relax. The rooms large and are super cleaned every day. We had booked with breakfast, and they are great portions. You can also have lunch and dinner there, whereby we didn't eat anywhere else with the great selection and the lush portions. People from outside came here to eat, too. Staff always friendly and helpful. Also the massage can only be recommended. Since this is mainly a hotel for divers, the diving school in the hotel, we can only recommend this as everything is very well organized and also Ricardo the owner is German speaking.
Can only say we were very satisfied and will come back next year and look forward to it. 😊

I love how the resort is just next to the dive center. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. From the dive guide, to the WhatsApp correspondence and the big spacious room. True that it is a walk to the shore dives, but they transport the diving equipment and tanks over on motorbikes so it's quite a breeze to walk. Earnest dive guide Kanci is very knowledgeable and earnest. Always quick to show me interesting finds and helped to take videos of me finning or with marine life. Lastly, the food is delicious. Love that they offer free breakfast.

Amazing stay! Me and my girlfriend went for a couple weeks in one of the bungalows and did a lot of scuba diving!
Everything was clean and tidy, with excellent food and drinks in the resort’s restaurant. The ocean sun staff- both dive centre and bar/cleaning staff- were all lovely and helpful. Komang and Andy were amazing instructors and we thoroughly enjoyed our dives; there were options to dive locally or to further sites- the Manta Point in Nusa Penida was an amazing day out, planned by Ocean Sun very well. Highly recommend this resort.

Hotel without any authenticity, modern. Nice garden but there is nothing Indonesian in it.
However, it is quiet and clean.
Except for diving, and even then, that is of no interest. The beach is made up of large stones which threaten to seriously sprain our ankles with every step.
Hearty, good meals.
For diving, prefer the warung on Amed, where the corals are much more present as well as the fish, and there is much more authenticity on Amed.
Here in the evening, there is nothing.
Be careful, if you pay with Visa, they take 10% more, like that, on top of your bank charges.
And the boss reserves the biggest table, and the most beautiful, and you are there to pay. Not really friendly.
The bathroom is not cleaned daily, no toothbrush change for example.
To summarize, there are plenty of places elsewhere for diving, for the setting and for friendliness. So-so. We feel like we're in France. That's not the purpose of my trip.

Room Tip: Préférez Amed. Très isolé de tout. Plage de gros cailloux dangereuse pour vos chevilles.

We come back here again time after time! Ricardo and his staff provide a very cozy, laid-back yet very professional atmosphere. The diving is just great in the area and Ricardo always has some secret spots up his sleeve if you're up to some adventures. If you are more of the non-diving kind then Ricardos dad Dieter is a very knowledgeable tour tour guide for Bali and Java. The garden of the new resort turned out really nice and the pool is just perfect to cool off after a day on the scooter or after diving. The bungalows are spacious with a nice outside shower.
On top of it all you get great food and drinks at the restaurant. Best of it all, everything comes at a very reasonable price for diving, accomodation and food! I can highly recommend this little gem!
