We stayed here for the second half of our honeymoon in Bali and honestly what a lovely little hideout. When we arrived we were greeted by the manager Ardi, he was so welcoming and helped us to settle in. He was so polite and friendly throughout our stay and organised so many things for us even on his days off from work. Honestly can't thank him enough. When we were taken to our room the staff took our cases and they were there already waiting for us. As we entered we were greeted to a lovely natural garden area with a beautiful pool (private) to our private villa. And wow, what a beautiful villa. Well equipped with everything you need, hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, soap, tooth brushes, clean towels, kitchenette with a large fridge, Marshall Bluetooth speaker, walk in wardrobe area and a huge bed. The living room windows were bi-folding and opened up into the garden and pool area with an indoor outdoor feel. But still private despite being near other villas. We had our breakfast every morning here and were amazingly greeted by every member of staff here from the moment we appeared first thing in the morning to the return from trips. Nothing was ever too much trouble and every member of staff being polite and friendly for the duration of our stay. But Ardi made the stay even better customizing trips for us and organising anything we asked for, nothing was too much trouble. I am also a coeliac and everything that was cooked they made sure was gluten free. It was amazing. Honestly it's a magical place, in the middle of a busy town however it feels like you're secluded in your own little world with no noise from the busy streets in the Elysian. The beach is a 5 minute walk and the town is the same walk. The spa and massages are also a bonus. And due to being our honeymoon we had a cake made for us by the staff. Excellent service, position, staff etc etc! Such a lovely place to stay and we try to come every year as the staff are like friends now. Special mentions must go to Yuli, Ardi, Bagus and Robert. Possibly the best thing about the hotel was the service. The staff never say no and they're always ready to help. Our villa was very comfortable. It was clean, spacious and the private pool was quite big. The shower was particularly lovely and was accompanied with good quality shampoo, shower gel etc. Location is pretty convenient. It's about a 10 minute walk to the high street, which leads to Seminyak Square. Seminyak beach is about a 15 minute walk. Grab (Uber like service) is pretty cheap and they usually get to the hotel within 6 minutes from my experience. The area is also very safe and you don't a boisterous crowd in this part of town. WiFi connectivity was strong. Only one suggestion I would make is have additional international plug sockets in the room and perhaps some usb charge sockets.

To all staff at the Elysian Villas...Terima kasih. We arrived in Bali for our first visit on a Tuesday. Ardi and Cynthia welcomed us to the Elysian lifestyle. Our private villa was located down a small walkway inside the resorts secure walls. The villa is spacious, comfortable, and very easy to live in, even if it took me a short while to get comfortable with the walk-in shower. The bedroom is also spacious and tastefully furnished. The bed is large and very comfy. The ceiling fan is good, but we suggest you keep the A/C on while you are in the villa. The lounge/dining area has a table and comfortable seating/lounges. The small kitchen area has a sink, fridge, and kettle, but no cooking facilities. That is not an issue, as you can get in-room dining as required (snacks or meals) and drinks. The private pool... the main reason we chose the Elysian Villas is the icing on the cake. We stayed for 7 days, and we used the pool EVERY DAY, sometimes more than once. Breakfast, read, swim, read/drink, swim, read/snack/ drink, swim, shower, go out for dinner, swim, shower, go to bed. Yes, it is very relaxing and peaceful. Look at the galleries here or on face book, these images of lovely spaces, clean and inviting, are accurate. What the pictures can't show is the enthusiasm for life that the Elysian staff bring to work every day. Ardi,Cynthia, Sri, Desi, Putu, Ecka, Robert plus many more gardeners, pool staff, gatekeepers, and Chefs. All staff gave us a smile, 'selamat pagi', and made us feel very welcomed. These reviews can only provide a numeric value to the Elysian, but the staff provide so much more. They provide advice on shopping trips, nice places to eat/drink, and arrange day tours with attentive drivers. We just needed to go slow and low profile, and that was accommodated as well. We have already decided to return to Bali, and the Elysian Villas will be a destination for into the future. The Villa was an amazing retreat to relax, unwind and let go of yourself. Staff member were courteous and helpful. Very private villa for couples who do not want to be disturbed. The pillows could have been a bit more softer is the only down fall, otherwise the villa & private pool was cleaned everyday and stocked up with bottles of water. The Villa also catered to gluten free and ensured that I didn’t get sick whilst I was away. Thank you The Elysian, you will be seeing us again soon.

I spent 4 days in this beautiful hotel surrounded by greenery like a forest .. a stone's throw from the magnificent waves of the ocean!! I would call it mini apartment with wonderful private pool, sitting area, kitchenette for tea-coffee; spacious bedroom and bathroom. The room was promptly changed as the front office clerk noticed that there was a leak from the glass on the roof in the bathroom, without wasting unnecessary time waiting to be repaired. Friendliness and helpfulness from all the staff pampered us in these days of stay. Breakfast really plentiful and excellent freshly prepared. Close enough beach equipped by local Balinese who rent umbrellas and sun loungers... sea with big wonderful waves to be faced with caution anyway.

Spent a week here to celebrate our 20th Wedding anniversary. It was perfect! We spent lots of time in our private villa, swimming, streaming music, reading and relaxing. The villas are large with their own living space you don’t have to spend all your time in the Bedroom.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful . Breakfast was great every day as many have noted on here it’s not a buffet however it is all cooked fresh and you can order as much as you want. We also had one lunch and two dinners and the food was great.
There is a main pool area, however, the only time people use this is seems to be on checkout day if they need to wait around for transport to the airport . This is not the hotel to come to if you are looking for a happening vibe down by the main pool. Most people spend their days in their private villas as these pools are beautiful.
Most guests seem to be couples or adult groups however, they were some families here. However again there is no entertainment for kids like a kids club or a volleyball tournament happening in the pool so you need to make sure that your kids are happy to swim in your private villa to be entertained.
You are within walking distance of Seminuk Square, where there are lots of restaurants and shops. You can also catch a taxi where you are within $5au of all main restaurants and activities in the area.
The spa in the venue is lovely, we got a massage as part of our package. Room service does not attract an extra fee which is fantastic if you want to have any of your meals in your villa.
Overall, we had a fantastic day, and would recommend to anyone particularly couples who just want to wind down and relax.

Yes anything. I have seen where they decorated a cabana by the pool very romantic and beautiful. Just let them know what you want. It is a beautiful place and the people there are simply gorgeous very happy and alway smiling. We are returning again in June and simply can’t wait
