I like to start with the positive things.
The location just at the beach. Close to nice restaurants at the beach or in the street.
Our first room was to dark and a little bit smelly and too small.
We asked for a better room with more comfort. They showed us the garden suite.
Very nice spacious a good room. We started the discussion about the upgrade.

Now i will start the less positive things. The reception staff are not customer friendly can not give a quote and can not do their matematics. We asked for a manager and he finally came with a good proposal.

Two days bad internet after a few complains again with the not customer friendly Staff we had the next seven days good WiFi.

Breakfast not my cup of tea. My advice is take a room without breakfast, walk 5 minutes to a few very good places with a super good coffee for less than 100k.

Because you are close to the beach you hear the ocean very well, i like it but is was noisy. Also on some nights very noisy with disco music.

Many stairs not comfortable for people with some mobility issuses.

My advice to the management of this hotel, your reception Staff needs training. Take a look at the ( reception) Staff at the Amnaya hotel in Kuta, they do a very good job.
Your Staff not. I understand and speak indonesian and it is not Nice to hear the Staff is making jokes about guests.

This hotel is right on the beach, through the gate and across the road and you're there, so always you can see and hear the waves crashing to the shore.
The rooms are spacious if a little "tired", the suites were very obviously the "grand balisani suites" when first built but are possibly in need of some TLC now. We laughed at our shower and thought it was a bit like Fawlty Towers as the water just didn't come from the shower head but splurted up all around and above it. However the bed was comfortable and the air con kept it nice and cool. Any issues soon disappear as you get to enjoy the pool, surroundings and most of all the MOST WONDERFUL staff. They are friendly, polite, helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel immediately at home. The pool area and swim up bar are lovely, the food nice.
The hotel is well situated, easy access to many beachside bars and other restaurants a short walk and loads more within a few minutes taxi ride. The sunsets are spectacular and attract many people arriving by bike to frequent the many bars there.
We didn't eat much at the hotel as we enjoyed the little beach bars so much but the food we did have was nice.
Would definitely go back there, given the opportunity.

This is a beautiful property with a great location but in my garden suite, there was a horrible smell smelling like sewage. Their response the first night was to spray deodorant. This covered it up but by the second day it was putrid and made me sick. They finally agreed and give me a new room. This was after the remote control for the AC did not work and needed replacement, then the wifi was not working well and needed fixing. I had housekeeping and engineering constantly in my room.It wasted so much of my time

I cannot believe they did not compensate me for the problems I continually had. Even when moved to a new room when I went to take a shower and they had forgotten to place bath towels in the room and the toilet would not flush and the sink would not drain. Disgusting!

As we stepped into the hotel lobby, which was more than few flights up. Entered into a large reception area, which looked daipilitated and required renovation.

The check in was quick and we were given a sea view room, the view was great. Except the view and the size of the room, everything in the room was not up to the mark. The furniture was very old, the flush not working properly to name a few not so good amenities.

The best part was the bedside didn’t have any plug points. I really was shocked to see that the late evening, when we came back to the room. I need to use CPAP machine to sleep and without any electric point to plug my machine , I panicked as without this facility, I would not be able to sleep. After few calls and people visiting our room, we were requested to change the room and there too no spare electrical point was available, so an extension cord was provided in which I could plug my CPAP.

The food was terrible too , though to keep records right, we just had breakfast and one snacks in the hotel.

I would never come back to this hotel and would also advise people not to book for their holidays in this hotel .

The only positive about the hotel, is location as it is hop skip and jump from a beach , the sea view of you get one and room size .

We requested a room change due to noise issues with band playing most of the night also foul smell of sewage from open sewage system on property boundary. we had to pay extra $70 per night to change the room to quite and less smell ($770 extra) Management could not give a hoot, China owned and a rip off. smell should be investigated

We booked for 5 nights and stay...1, horrible hotel, very old, we changed the room 2 times, we have the garden view a beautiful wall... of a cottage...
The room was with old furniture, the paint of the walls were peeling, the ceiling was full of spots from leaking , bathroom dirty, the shower head full of limescale, the same the sink, the towels were patched , a lot of holes in the bad sheets
We had a dinner and the food was horrible, small portion and big prices. We booked with breakfast included but when we arrived we found that we need to pay, poor costumer service , one of the reception team , very rude. Duty Manager was changed our agreement.

Grand balinlsani Suites

Don’t come here when you are tired or expecting a friendly professional service. We came to bali for our honeymoon and tried 6 hotels and this was the only irritated experience I met. Not friendly or humble personal even a little bit arrogant , and laughing with there guest troublesome situations.

Welcoming at the hotel:
When we arrive, the guy who is responsible to cary our luggage was stopped by the front desk staff. The luggage is left downstairs at the parking until everything was arranged, and that part took almost 1 hour. They refused to give me the better price than an online 3rd party company so I booked through the 3rd party website of course. Then the drama started and we had to wait for more than 30 minutes. They just kept asking one unprofessional question after the other. In the end they just grabbed my cellphone as it was their own during covid times to see the confirmation etc. After paying with a mastercard they still ask me to give a deposit. So I had to pay cash otherwise We couldn’t get to our room. Also they provided twin bed room with terrible view, instead of the garden view and large bed that was promised online. So I complained and asked for a change of room. Again we had to wait.. the next day I figured out we stayed in a covid isolation room of their hotel. Plus In the middle of the night 2 AM got a cancelled booking. Bye bye deposit.

Room quality:
The room were spacious but smelled old, like an attic. It has been a while they invested in it. You can also hear your neighbors opening the tap our opening closet. I also thing there are everywhere steps and leveling difference. So not to convenient for old people.

our parents are, and they are loving it. The main thing I want to comment on is the beachfront pool. We have had a few sunset drinks there, and also lunch/a swim. The whole hotel is ideally located for access to Batu Belig beach, as well as the Batu Belig road with multiple restaurants and shops. The beach front bar has a limited range of beer but it's cold and the sea front views are great, albeit blocked a little by motorbikes at sunset (although they move the cars away). It's an ideal spot to view the sunset and have a cold drink, as well as enjoy the pool.

There are no complaints with the rooms either, although not so many have sea views nor any type of view other than a wall - still it's got aircon, hot water and it's a pleasant enough stay.

Great location to walk to the beach . The hotel is dated - while the rooms are large & some have sea views , the overall ambience is really old. Simple conveniences in the room like power points near the bed are missing .
There is no elevator - so if you choose a sea view room which are on higher floors be prepared for climbing up& down .
The food is average .
The location is good - convenient to explore Seminayak & Canggu areas in Bali .

3 star hotel at best! On arrival and throughout stay reception staff not particularly friendly and looked disinterested in general. No welcome drink on arrival, room was nice but bed was rock hard had to ask for mattress topper it was that bad, all my family thought same. General condition of hotel worn and shabby, pool table broken, pool area nice gardens well kept but again tiling broken and unstable around pool area. Pool staff equally bored unfriendly and disinterested, music on a speaker propped up on bar rather than through proper PA system , could barely hear it unless you were right beside bar . In my opinion either play background balinese music for relaxing vibes or play music loud for upbeat pool party vibes. Food was ok. Spa was beautiful and very good therapists however again on arrival was offered a special voucher for spa which was same price as massage on menu so it wasn’t a discount at all seemed pointless. Security guys were awesome so friendly, made a point of coming out to chat, remembered our names, pool towel guy the same. Recommend put security guys in hotel bar they would get that holiday vibe going and put Pool towel guy on reception, renovate place needs a facelift

The hotel is literally on the beach front with nice sunset spot. You just go threw the gate. The beach is sandy. swimming in the pool with the view of the beach having food and cocktails in the swim up pool bar.

Not manager, just visited Bali resort. Call hotel and they can arrange a transfer. Also, just a note for slightly more money you can get a driver per day and tour guide for about $45 US dollars, gives you about 10 hours each day. Google Bali tour guide... can be used for pick up from airport for starters and they wait for you as needed, then take you to temples etc... Cheers and enjoy.
