imagine my surprise after a long flight and late arrival to turn back my sheets to find that they had not been changed from the previous guest. Not only were they dirty , they were also holey. They then moved to a suite as an apology. Here the sheets were clean but the room wasn't, particularly the fridge. Also the shower head was falling off the wall. The morning breakfast was dreadful. This hotel may photograph well but it is tired and dirty!. I would not recommend it.

The hotel is nicely situated in Seminyak area, but it's too far to walk to anywhere in Seminyak. Better take the taxi which the receptionist would gladly call for.
The room is small with adequate lighting but not cleaned thoroughly. Some of the amenities provided were soaked with water apparently they didn't change it after the last guest. The bed sheets have small holes in some places and the bath towels have leftover hair from the previous guest. A walk in the hotel at night was a bit eerie because lack of lighting and no sound emanating from the rooms nearby.
Breakfast is surprisingly good with large portion: two eggs sunny side up, two sausages, two bacons, two slices of bread, half slice of tomato but also quite fattening as all of the above are fried (except the bread and tomato).
This hotel might not be the best option if you want luxury or spend more time in a hotel, but it might be a good one if you just need a place to rest at night.

Very impressed with the friendly staff at the hotel. They were very helpful in lovely. We were able to get rides into Seminyak at anytime. The hotel is too far away to really walk to places though.

Me and my friend are female travels in our 20s. We have both stayed in some dodgy questionable hostels in the past but nothing compared to how disgusting this place is.

Ants EVERYWHERE. Hundreds crawling around reception, on the desk and counter.

The room was disgusting. More ants, crawled over me when I was lying down. The bedsheets were stained and dirty. We asked at reception if someone could change sheets and clean room. Which they did - changed to more dirty sheets and the room was still in the same dirty state.

The bathroom was vile. Dirty toilet, dirty shower, dirty sink. The towels they provide are also dirty.

The pool was dirty, the sun loungers were dirty. The “spa” looked like an abandoned building.

We didn’t stay. Asked for money back and left.

The photos I have uploaded don’t even show how bad it was.

After looking at several hotels at £100 + a night in Seminyak and being very underwhelmed, we arrived at Batu Belig after a friendly local recommended the place (he even drove us there). We have travelled all over Bali staying in a range of mid to high end accommodation and for the price this is the best value / service we have received to date. The breakfast / lunch is outstanding by Balinese standards and there is a small bar at the front of the property. The rooms are very clean, although the bathrooms have not been updated to the same standard as the rooms. The staff cannot do enough for you and the small pool to the rear of the property is more than ample and always seems to be quiet.

In Summary, the price (Circa £40 - £50 p/n) is an absolute bargain compared with what else is on offer in Seminyak, a taxi into the centre of town is only £13,000 rp (£1ish) so the fact that the location is not "central" is no issue at all. There is a local Mini Mart and ATM within walking distance.

If you’re looking for all out 5* luxury, this isn’t the place, but we are very picky travellers and really couldn’t fault the place. The hotel has only been under new ownership for 6 months so hopefully they will maintain the high standards they have started with.

If you are looking to get away from the hustle of Seminyak/Kuta then this place is ideal.

We stayed here over new years and were appointed a 'suite'. The room was clean, spacious and included a private outside patio which we thought was a nice touch.

This is a fairly small hotel complex with a medium sized pool and spa. The public areas are quite intimate but that was part of its charm.

The staff here are the best and made our stay very comfortable. We can't praise them enough for their effort, care and attention.

If you are thinking of staying here, bear in mind that you will need to get taxi's to take you to the centre of the action. They don't provide a shuttle into town but the taxi's are cheap, about 14-16000 rupiah (£1-2).

Perfect for a relaxed holiday. In a quiet location, but within easy walking distance to , restaurants and the beach. Our villa with pool was excellent. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. breakfast was surprisingly nice too.

This hotel was great ten years ago and it was set in a more pleasant area (ref. overdevelopment). I stayed there many times. Two things that could be fixed should be. Service all the air conditioners and install fans too in all the rooms, as the ac. units can be noisy, particularly as he probably chose cheap units.
Next as people have commented the sewer is a real problem. I guess after thirty or so years the whole network needs servicing. That means jet blasting the system, maybe digging up the septic and re-setting. Right now it seems the toilet is linked to the shower.. Putrid smell bubbles up from the depths of the system when water is used in the room; toilet flush/shower. Should not be too hard to fix but will it be done. With the general level of apathy, probably not. It is a shame as it could be a nice budget hotel if the sanitation was fixed. Albeit a hotel set a long way from anywhere. It suited me but until they clean it I doubt I will return.

With only USD 35 per night, this hotel really amazed me.
The front desk is just like any other standard hotel, however, once you enter the garden, it really gave a very relaxing feeling.
Every room is connected to the beautiful garden.
When you open the door, you will feel like in a spa. Well, the hotel also has a spa center in it, but I do not think that the room will also give a similar feeling. Aromatherapy scents are all over the place.
The room is quite spacious with a king sized bed, and also completed by a big bathroom with bathtub.
There is also a swimming pool available, but the size is very small to really swim. But I don't think we really need a swimming pool anyway since it is in Bali.
It is also located near Batu Belig beach, only 2 minutes driving from hotel.
What's on my mind is this place will be really great for honeymoon or escape vacation if you are short in budget, but will still give you a very comfortable room and surrounding.

The problem is, the breakfast is not in-house, there is a restaurant in the parking area of the hotel which will serve you breakfast. And of course, there will be no food room service from the hotel, only from the restaurant outside.
The breakfast options are western & Indonesian dishes.

Well in conclusion, with a quite low budget, you have to count this hotel as a very comfortable an relaxing place to stay. I personally recommend this hotel.

Location and the hotel itself is good , it's a bit away from the city but it's ok... Beach is closer so all good ..
The rooms are ok but they definitely need to work on their toilets and showers..
Room we stayed in, the shower was funny.. 3 streams of water came out from it so we had to take a shower under the tap :) pretty funny...
And the toilet and the bathroom area definitely needs a scrub..
Apart from that rest everything was ok..
Nice pool n all that.
