the property is a little dated, and a litte far from the main shops , 20 min walk. breakfast is included which is basic, eggs toast, or nasi goreng, juice, coffee tea, which was sufficient. the rooms are large. separate lounge bedroom bathroom all very large in total 247sam which was great. there is a pool in the villa so very private it s not a plunge pool much bigger. the staff are great , very helpful and very clean. happy to stay again. only issue they will give you a lift to the main shops or Kuta, however not available all the time.

This is the nicest place I have ever stayed. Best hotel in Bali. Lovely and helpful staff who cleaned the pool every day. Private pool was beautiful. Very tasty breakfast with vegetarian options. Close to Seminyak and fabulous facilities. Staff happy to book excursions and help with anything during your stay. We’ll be back!

We arrived at our villa & there was no electricity in our bedroom. There is no door separating our private pool to the living room therefore all bugs and lizards are roaming around your indoor & bedroom. Our bathroom was that dirty unfortunately we had to leave the villa immediately and we booked a different hotel straight away (Amadea resorts) we would not recommend this at all.

Cannot believe how the photos on the internet are not to what they actually look like.
Maybe years ago but we stayed there 1 month ago and left after 2 nights as it was disgusting.
We ended up staying somewhere else in Nusa Dua.
We ended up getting our money back through Scoopon.
If you look at out photos before you book it might change your mind.
Don't waiste your money.

We stayed here for a week after Christmas & over the new year. As we booked late and it been before new year, it was exceptionally expensive but we didn't mind as we expected a lot more than we actually got. The photos on their website are completely false, especially the map of where the villas were located. It was actually on the other side of Jl. sunset and NOT the beach side. It was located through a lot of small dark streets and the road leading up to it was unpacked rocky gravel next door to some sort of shanty town, where a lot of men would hang out at all night, you certainly wouldn't want to walk down there alone at night! No taco driver in seminyak or kuta knew where it was and those who did would refuse to take you there, making it difficult to get home. The villas offer a free driver service out to kuta and seminyak but complain every time you ask to be taken out, always about the bad traffic and what a hassle it was! So we ended up hiring a motor bike for the rest of our stay. On our last day we went out for breakfast
And had to walk back in the pouring rain because no taxi driver would take us back. The rocky road up to the villas was flooded and smelt like sewerage and we has to walk through it. The included breakfast at the villa was gross, instead if toast it was white bread, which went soggy under the eggs, I couldn't even look at it!! So we ended up going out every morning (they didn't even ask why we stopped eating breakfast there, they probably knew)! The villa itself was ok, but old and in ill repair. Nothing like the photos on the website. The changes they made since taking over the villas (previously called man and women) were minimal. The kettle didn't work at all. The couch was too low and soft to sit on and was laden with Mosquitos which must have been nesting in it. The bar was very high (about 4.5 ft tall) with a sink (dirty) so lucky I wasn't planning on doing any dishes as you'd have to be very talk to reach! Only alcohol was cans of Bintang, it would have been nice to have spirits in there for non beer drinkers! There was only one power point in the bathroom and none by the bed or living area. The lighting in the bathroom was shocking, only dim colored "mood" lighting, so it felt like getting ready in the dark each day. The basins and around were dirty. The toilet seat was broken and would
Slide around. The shower water was either scolding hot or cold. The bathroom was unusually big, probably as big as the bedroom and living area together. The bed was probably the best thing, it was like two kings put together! In the last 2-3 days we had non stop pouring rain, which is fine, it's wet season but the villa leaked! The cealing showed prior water damage and it leaked and dripped onto my pillow!! The windows/doors had gaps and the water came into the villa, flooding the floor! We had to ask them to drain some if the pool because it was about to overflow (straight into the bedroom). They used our towels to mop the floors and didn't replace them. The men who came for nightly turn down pushed the doorbell half a dozen times before I could get to the door and weren't wearing uniforms and just asked if they could come in, didn't announce who they were, I thought they were strange men asking to come in, not staff!! The room service food was terrible and over priced, soggy or undercooked. The main pool area by the lobby was nothing like the pictures, no decking around it, no chairs or sun loungers or umbrellas. It was glass and dirty looking, no steps to get it, I didn't try it ( I don't think anyone did while we stayed) I presume you climb over the glass edge? No resturant as advertised. You can't get any alcohol, cocktails to the room or anywhere in the villa! We won't be staying here again, we feel ripped off!

Worst place EVER!!
Rude , unfriendly, lazy receptionists
Dirt , old villas
Has to argue for what we paid for
Eg first day
No welcome drink had to request this twice
Called Twice about safe n phone being broken
Twice about coffee cups as had none in the room
No info about resort when arrived
No fruit basket
No fresh cloths on arrival
No one sprayed for mossies
No shuttle bus available
No towel for child nor seat for them to eat breakfast
Requested towel n seat but after 10 days n returning home still waiting

Second day
Asked for a chair for breakfast for child still didnt end up coming
Had to request someone to clean our room
Went to order our dinner for the free set menu but was told had to give 24hrs notice
But once again no one gave us any resort info

Each day the free shuttle was busy or drive gone home or off today - requested in business hrs

EXTREMELY Rude manager / owner , would smile , just kept saying NO.
The 2 other ladies sat behind the desk on there phones , didn’t greet , smile or knowledge Anyone as they come n go

Leak down bath room water , bath leaked all over the floor to the point most days it there was a huge puddle.

Day 4 , workman working on something next to our villa , hammering noise coming thru the wall from 11am to 5pm, extremely Loud

Wanted to leave but they refused to give us our refund.

RESORT FROM HELL - also next to what looks n smells like a RUBBISH TIP

The photos these people use on their website are totally false and really need to address this & place some true & accurate photos of the villas. The villas are run down, the restaurant that is advertised on the website was never open & you couldn't get any food from them & told to order from the outside restaurants. The only thing that I have left to say is that photos are not always accurate.

My partner and I stayed 7 nights at Amor Bali Villas. During this time we had an incredible stay! The Villas and service is truly amazing.

Perfect location and the complimentary shuttle service makes it easy to get around. Very handy to restaurants, shopping centres ect. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Always was a great start to the day when breakfast was delivered and served by one of the friendly staff next to the villa pool . The villa was absolutely beautiful, modern and had all that we needed for our holiday, it was very private and the villa and property was stunning. Free wifi in villa and public areas

Thank you to the team at Amor Bali Villas for our truly incredible stay. We can not wait to return to the piece of paradise we have found in Seminyak, We will see you soon.

Tracey and Dave
