We attended a 70th birthday party in Wellington and decided to stay overnight. Bakkies has a splendid location situated before you take to Bains Kloof. The rooms are spacious, clean tastefully decorated. The only gripe we had was the fact that the venue advertised DSTV which wasn't the case. The breakfast was very average but what made up for that...

I had the WORSE stay EVER on Sat 3 Sept. Music from a party blared WHOLE night. I complained, but to no avail. When I asked for a refund, the manager Dirk said that I should leave and NEVER come back!

We stayed at Bakkies in Feb for 2 nights as we were attending a wedding in a nearby venue. We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by a very friendly host who showed us around. The cottage room we had was lovely, really big and clean. Breakfast on both mornings was really lovely, plenty of choice and freshly...

We enjoyed our stay in this B&B, friendly reception by the owner even though we did not make a reservation prior to our arrival. Safe environment and a beautiful mountain view. Lovely well maintained garden. We enjoyed a good breakfast. Best wishes for the future

Bakkies B&B has the most wonderful views of the mountains- truly beautiful. Bakkies, Ronél, Marius and Reg will go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Plus the breakfasts are superb. As I am a vegetarian, Bakkies made special trips to buy vegetarian sausage to make sure I had enough for breakfast. Marius helped me drive to the...

My partner and I decided to stay at Bakkies B&B after a lot of research and pricing, and it was definitely worth it. Not only were the rates the best we could possibly find but we were greeted on arrival with welcome smiles and a gorgeous room with every amenity we could have required. We were delighted with a 3...

We stayed at Bakkies for 2 nights. A beautiful view and near Bainskloof Pass (must drive thru in summer!). Nice atmosphere and the personel is very friendly. Helped us sort out which activities to do, and were to have dinner. Breakfast was excellent. Very good quality! Price / quality is thus quite good. Bed was very comfortable and the shower/bathroom...

We booked our guests, who were to attend my son's wedding into Bakkies B&B. All were extremely happy with the accommodation and service. Bakkies went the extra mile to get my guests to the venue when the shuttle did not arrive to pick up the guests. Much appreciated Bakkies for the excellent service. Deborah Fish
