The room was really well appointed and fully prepared to meet all guest needs. There was even an emergency container with cream for bites or sunburn. Fabulous. The room and entire facility was sparkling clean. We didn't eat at the lodge so we can't comment on the food. Ian, the operator suggested the Village Deli for a good light meal...

We were heading for George but decided to spend one more night indulging ourselves to end our overseas holiday. Very glad we did. Our host brought us a tray of very welcome tea to our room, even though there was a hostess tray, and we were able to sit on our private balcony and relax while watching the world go...

I arrived somewhat late and was immediately put at my ease by the welcoming staff. The place is easy to find, the room (Iris) was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable and it was great to have my own private balcony. The staff were very attentive and assisted in all regards. The breakfast was really good with the opportunity to...

We thoroughly recommend this Lodge. There is great attention to detail and a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts are delicious and the rock pool a wonderful place to relax and cool down after a hot day on the beach.

Attended a New Moon Sound Alchemy gathering and it was a beautiful experience in the function room at Pelican Lodge. The Lodge was spotless, everything seemed well organised, I was warmly welcomed. I enjoyed the notice boards advising guests of interesting activities for them to enjoy.

We spent a few nights at this lodge last week whilst visiting Sedgefield. Great rooms, very comfortable setup with free WiFi and great breakfast options with the best coffee I have tasted. Hands on owner who even did airport runs for us, going the extra mile! Check them out!

What an amazing stay. Only one night but loved everything about this b & b. Great rooms with big comfortable beds, stunning breakfast including homemade rusks and friendly staff. One of the best I have ever stayed in. I would have given it six stars if it was possible.
